Episode/Chapter 19 - Outlaws Part 2

"So Blackfire is your sister, correct?" Red Hood asked as they waited on the top of a building.

"Yes. My evil older sister." Starfire nodded.

"Evil? Why's she evil?" Arsenal asked.

"She wanted to be the ruler of Tamaran. But our father had different plans. It was all very complicated at the time." Starfire sighed as she thought, then turned to the two, "I am not certain as to what she would be doing here on Earth, however. How long has she been here?"

"Only a week." Red Hood answered, "I got onto it as soon as I noticed a pattern of jewel robberies throughout Gotham. Roy and I were able to get to the scenes first, and we found some unusual alien-like destruction."

He took out his phone, pulled up a picture, then showed it to Starfire. There was glass shattered everywhere in the robbed jewelry store. At the center of the store, the empty display cases looked like they were melted, and were still freshly glowing purple.

"These were caused by Tamaranian starbolts or beams." Starfire nodded, "and it is purple. Most definitely my sister."

"Now that we've confirmed that, how do we find her?" Arsenal asked as Red Hood took his phone back and put it away.

"Starfire! So nice to see you!"

The three turned suddenly to see Blackfire herself hovering above them.

"What are you doing here, Sister?" Starfire demanded as she got her starbolts ready, Arsenal held up his mechanical arm ready to shoot, and Red Hood took out his guns and held them up, pointing at Blackfire.

"Whoa, chill, Wildcats..." Blackfire held her hands up in surrender.

"Is she from this era, or the Teen Titans Era?" Red Hood asked Starfire.

"I followed you nitwits here." Blackfire shrugged.

"Why are you robbing the jewelry stores in Gotham?" Arsenal asked.

"What? Jewelry? From Earth?! Please... That's one of the last things I'd want from Earth." Blackfire said.

"Do not lie! We have seen the evidence! You have been robbing jewelry stores for their jewelry!" Starfire shouted.

"Okay, look, that was a favor." Blackfire denied.

"For who?! Who are you working for?!" Arsenal demanded.

"The Light..." Red Hood muttered.

"I'm sorry, did you say 'The Light'? Ahahaha!!" Blackfire cackled, "that group of villains? Of course not. I'm in it for the money. Am I right, Jay?" Blackfire turned to Red Hood and winked.

"What does she mean?" Starfire asked.

"I... I'm not sure..." Red Hood stammered, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"But of course you do! Oh, have you not told Star?" Blackfire smirked, "you trust him, Star? I'm sure your little trio won't last a night."

"Red Hood , what is she referring to?" Starfire asked.

"Nothing. We'll talk later. Right now, we have to stop your sister..." Red Hood replied as he continued to glare at Blackfire. Arsenal looked up at him, then at the ground, "we'll capture you and make you talk."

"Oh please... I'd pay big money to see THAT happen!" Blackfire laughed.

"You can't be serious..." Arsenal moaned.

"Then I can guarantee that you'll be losing a whole lot of money." Red Hood smirked, and he motioned for Arsenal and Starfire to fall in and fight.

"You think you can beat ME?! Pathetic!!" Blackfire cackled as she expertly dodged all of Starfire's starbolts and Arsenal's lasers. Red Hood ran forward and started fighting her with hand-to-hand combat, "wow, you're good, Red-Head."

"Of course I am. I was only trained by the best." Red Hood gritted his teeth as he tried to stand his ground and continue fighting. He finally pulled out his two back-up metal eskrima sticks and started fighting her with them.

"This is embarrassing." Blackfire said, as she held both his eskrima sticks, then started shooting Red Hood with her eye-lasers. Red Hood groaned as he fell in front of her, "haha! You super-powerless boys are so fun to play with." Blackfire giggled as she dropped his two eskrima sticks, then held her hands over Red Hood, ready to shoot him with her starbolts up close.

"Stop!" Arsenal shouted and he shot her with a foam arrow.

"What do you see in them, Star?! They're clearly so dumb and vulnerable..." Blackfire rolled her eyes as she broke the foam easily, then flew up to Arsenal and knocking him out with one blow.

"Komand'r!" Starfire shouted, "don't hurt them!"

"So it's just you and me now, Sis? Finally a real fight." Blackfire said, then laughed, "oh who am I kidding? You're just as weak as they are."

Starfire growled in anger as her eyes started glowing green. She flew forward and tackled Blackfire to the ground. Blackfire struggled against Starfire's grip, then tried to shoot her with her eye-lasers, but Starfire dodged them. Blackfire kicked Starfire off of her and they fought hand-to-hand combat in the night sky.

"Wow, you sure got stronger, Kori." Blackfire smirked as they faced each other, "so how's Robin? I'm surprised you're still with that weakling. What do you see in him? He doesn't even have superpowers!"

"Do NOT talk like that about Robin!!!" Starfire screeched as her eyes and fists started turning green.

She flew forward fast in front of Blackfire and started hitting her with starbolts and lasers, as well as getting a few kicks and punches. When Blackfire was caught off guard, Starfire grabbed Blackfire, flew up higher into the sky with her, then threw her down hard into the top of the building. As the dust cleared, Starfire hovered above, then saw Red Hood and Arsenal unconscious, and noticed that Blackfire was unconscious too.

"Wh-what...?!" Red Hood started waking up and rubbing his head.

"She is down, and we can bring her to the cave." Starfire said as she helped Arsenal up, then walked over to Red Hood and held out her hand. He smirked, grabbed her hand, and she pulled him up.

Suddenly, they heard the click of an inhibitor collar. The three turned to see Nightwing and the Teen Titans Robin standing next to Blackfire, who was now wearing an inhibitor collar. Nightwing scanned the Outlaws, looked down at Blackfire, back up at the three, then chuckled,

"You three have some explaining to do."
