Young Justice Season 4 - The Red X Factor

Episode/Chapter 19 - Outlaws

"The Titans are here!!" Impulse announced as he ran through the halls of the cave. 

"Hey, heard about Red Robin. I'm sorry to hear that..." Robin told Nightwing as he followed him into the living room. 

"It's fine. We're all recovering." Nightwing replied, "for some reason, Jason's been hanging around here more than usual." 

The two turned to see Jason Todd with Arsenal at the kitchen island. 

"Hey, Dickie Bird! Long time no see!" Jason called. 

"What are you doing here Todd?" Damian asked as he walked in and stole Jason's soda can. 

"Hey!! That's mine Demon-spawn!" Jason yelled and started chasing Damian around the living room, "don't make me get my guns!!" 

"Oh please. You know that nothing can put me down." Damian scoffed as he cracked open the can and took a sip. But it suddenly burst in his hands after Jason had gotten out one of his guns and shot the can, and the soda dripped from Damian's hands, "haha, very hilarious..."  

"Hey, I was serious." Jason said as he put his guns back in his holsters. 

"Impulse! What's up buddy!" Cyborg greeted as he gave Impulse a high-five in the living-room. 

"Jaime's with Kara this afternoon. Wanna crash on the couch and Netflix'n'chill?" Impulse waved the remote in the air. 

"You bet!" Cyborg replied as he and Impulse jumped onto the couch. 

"Is Beast Boy here?" the Teen Titans Beast Boy asked as he and Raven walked in. 

"No, sorry. He's out of town with Miss Martian." Nightwing answered. 

"So what are we doing here again?" Raven asked as Starfire followed behind her. Jason and Arsenal turned to look at Starfire, and Jason peered at her in suspicion. 

"We're just paying a friendly visit after their loss." Robin answered, "so just hang out with them." Robin then turned to Nightwing, "anything on Red X?" 

"Nothing new. But we're still searching." Nightwing sighed as they headed back to the mission briefing room to talk about Red X. 

"What are you going to do here?" Starfire asked Raven. Raven shrugged, then turned to where Cyborg and Impulse were on the couch scrolling through the movies and shows on Netflix. 

"Can I join you guys?!" Beast Boy called and jumped onto the couch, "ooh! Can't forget the popcorn!"  

"I'm not sure." Raven replied, then looked at everyone else. She saw Jason and Arsenal silently discussing things, then saw Damian sitting at the kitchen island opening his own can of soda. She watched him closely, until he saw her staring at him. Then to Raven's surprise, Damian waved at her, and she smiled and waved back. 

"So you're Damian Wayne, son of Batman." Raven said as she walked up to him. 

"How do you--" 

"Also the grandson of Ra's al Ghul..." Raven observed. 

"My grandfather was the demon's head." Damian explained. 

"I know." Raven nodded, "my father's a demon. We have more in common than you might think." 

"Yeah. Apparently." Damian said as he looked Raven up and down, nodded, then took a sip from his soda. 

Starfire looked around and saw that everyone had someone to talk to. So she walked up to Raven and stood next to her, but then felt someone grab her arm and drag her to the side. 

"So, you're the Tamaranian alien princess, aren't you?" Jaosn asked as he and Arsenal stood before Starfire. 

"Y-yes?" Starfire answered. 

"Then maybe you can help us out with something... Koriand'r." Jason smirked. 

"How do you.... How do you know my name? Not even my own team is aware with my real name." Starfire gasped. 

"Look, we have closer bonds than you might think." Jason responded, "we need to get to Gotham. I can explain on the way." 

"What? Why?" Starfire asked, "and why me?" 

"Just trust us, Star." Arsenal said, and Starfire just stared at them, then nodded. 

"Good." Jason said as the three walked to the Zeta tubes. 

"Where are you three going?" Nightwing asked. 

"Taking Starfire out to show her around Happy Harbor." Jason responded. 

"Cool." Robin responded. 

"Recognized. Red Hood, B35. Arsenal, B25. Authorization, Starfire." the computer said as they left. 

"....Are they really showing her Happy Harbor?" Robin asked. 

"If Jason Todd said that, then they're most likely not." Nightwing replied nonchalantly. 

"Uh, are you going to go after them?" 

"Nope. I put a tracker on Jason. If something goes wrong, then we can go find them." Nightwing said as he held up a tracking device. 

"That's helpful." Robin smirked and nodded.

"So, why me again?" Starfire asked. 

"Because... this is going to be really hard to explain..." Arsenal turned to Jason as they walked through an alley in Gotham City. 

"We're going to form a group. The three of us." Jason explained, "we'll be the Outlaws." 

"But what makes you think I will be a valuable member of your group?" Starfire asked. 

"Because Scott Lobdell made it all possible..." Arsenal muttered under his breath. 

"What?" 

"Nothing." Arsenal replied right away. 

"Because you may have knowledge on someone more than what we may have." Jason said, "besides, you know more about Tamaranians than we do, right?" 

"Yes I do. But what does that have to do with anything at the moment?" Starfire asked as Jason took out his red helmet and put it on. 

"Because we have a new villain in Gotham." Red Hood turned to look out at the street, "and the name might ring a bell." 

"What name?"

Red Hood chuckled, then turned to look at Arsenal and Starfire, 

"Blackfire?"
