"So let me get this straight..." Oracle shook her head, "Klarion is trying to help us?!"
"The same Klarion that threatened to kill Nightwing?" Kid Flash asked after he and Impulse were called back.
"This does not seem right..." Aqualad thought out loud, "Klarion has been a sworn enemy for a very long time."
"But it's true. He's never rejoined the Light." Speedy said, "Is it that they didn't allow him to join, or he didn't want to?"
"He said they wouldn't let him back into the Light. As if he tried to, but wasn't accepted." Jet replied, "so that's why he wants to help us?"
"The enemy of our enemy is our friend." Night Owl shrugged.
"But how are you able to hear what Klarion is telling you?" Kid Flash asked.
"Maybe he's learned a few new skills in the past." Oracle suggested, "can you get a hold of him?"
"I think he can only contact us for now..." Jet answered.
"No need, armadillos." They all turned to see the witch-boy himself walk through the hall and into the mission briefing room, "I'm already here. Now, we have plans to discuss, yes?"

"This looks like the place." Wonder Girl said as the small squad cautiously walked into the familiar room they saw in the video.
"What if the Red X we saw was a holographic image?" Blue Beetle shrugged.
"Well, I guess we'll never know... They're gone." Superboy said as they all searched the room.
"Wait..." Beast Boy stopped everyone. They all turned to watch him as he dropped down on the floor and sniffed the corner they saw Red X standing in. He gasped, "I recognize the scent!"
Now they were all listening, Miss Martian ran over to him, "What is it, Gar?"
"I... Can't remember... It's on the tip of my brain though..." Beast Boy slapped his head as he tried his hardest to remember.
"It's okay. We can investigate a little bit more." Nightwing said as he did a 360 at the center of the room. He recognized the fixtures from the video that the two mysterious figures had sent the cave.
"Does this look familiar to anyone?" Blue Beetle asked as he held up some sort of fried device. Nightwing took the device and felt it. He examined the device closely and tried to recognize the symbols and patterns.
"It looks like..." Nightwing thought before finishing his sentence, he thought back... until he finally remembered, "a time machine. The same one the Titans and the Savage Six used..."
"Huh. Who'd use a time machine?"
"What if..." Nightwing thought again, "what if the two figures that were here are from the Teen Titans era? Or better yet, what if this second Red X is from the Teen Titans era? Robin did say there was one over there, right?"
"But how do we know that the one that was in their era wasn't Tim?" Miss Martian asked.
"Why else would this thing be here?" Beast Boy asked as he looked at the time machine closer, then gasped, "I got it! That scent in the corner! It smelled a lot like the Teen Titans!"
"That's it. That clinches it. Our second Red X is from the Teen Titans Era!" Nightwing concluded.
"Okay, but how about our two mystery men, ese?" Blue Beetle asked.
"They're a different investigation." Superboy replied.
"But with them around, Impulse is in danger. We have to find out who they are, before it's too late." Blue Beetle warned.
"Blue's right. We have to take care of them as soon as possible." Nightwing put his hand on Superboy's shoulder.
"Hey, Oracle to Nightwing. Do you copy?" they heard Oracle over the comm.
"We're here, Oracle." Nightwing replied.
"Did you find our masked freak?"
"No. But we know where he came from, and we know who to call."
"What about the two?"
"We have nothing on them, unfortunately." Nightwing sighed, "anything new over there?"
"Actually, yes. We have some new major leads on the Light, and what they're up to. Get the squad back here." Oracle ordered, "We have what we're looking for."
Geez, that took so long... But don't worry! Only one more month... Or at least twenty more days of school, and things'll be so much easier to update! So yeah! Keep your eyes peeled for the next Episode/Chapter 23 - No Mercy! Second to last one! Let's finish off with a bang! Can't wait!!!
