Sinunod ko yung advice sakin ni Levi. And it worked. Nagustuhan naman nila EIC, ate Raian at nung bakulaw kong copyeditor. Hindi na niya ulit binago pa yung story ko. Eh pano pa ba niya mababago yun eh ako na talaga yun? Tuwang tuwa si ate Raian kasi I'm really back na daw. Actually agad kong natapos yung five chapters sa loob lang ng two months.

Pero hindi lang naman ang pagsusulat yung ginawa ko, na ma-manage ko pa din naman yung business namin.

"Alie, kinukulit na ako ni Mrs. Garcia, kelan daw ba kayo mauupo at makakapag usap sa pinapagawa niya sayo?" Tanong ni kuya sa akin. Oo nga pala, yung boss nga pala ni kuya kinukuha kami.

"Uhm, just give me her number kuya ako na ang co-contact sa kaniya."

"Okay. Make sure you give her a call ah!"

"Yup!"

Kaya right after kong makuha ang number ni Mrs. Garcia, agad ko na din siyang tinawagan.

*rings

"Yes, hello, who's this?"

"Hi Mrs. Garcia, this is Alie, Caleb's sister."

"Uh, yes, yes, yes! How are you?"

"I'm fine. Uhm, sorry if I only just called now, alam ko matagal na po kayong nagpapagawa sa akin ng design."

"It's okay hija. Mejo busy din ako, and I know for sure ikaw din."

"So when do you want to have a coffee with me, Mrs. Garcia?"

"How about dinner, tomorrow?"

"Sounds great!"

"Okay, see you tomorrow then! Siyempre sa restaurant namin."

"Alright, I will be there tomorrow, Mrs. Garcia. Thank you!"

*hangs up

Okay so this is it! Tomorrow night, another client. And alam ko hindi siya basta basta client lang.

I texted the two about meeting Mrs. Garcia tomorrow, and I expected a reply, pero wala. So what, ako na lang ba ang mag-iisip again ng mga designs? Pambihira!

Binuksan ko ang laptop ko and started my research. Panigurado yung anak niya ay isang bachelor, yung tipong cool and masungit tapos deep set eyes, divided chin, thick brows, mahilig sa black tapos OC. Ewan ko ba pero ganon lahat ng mga anak mayaman sa movies, especially the son.

In the middle of my research, nag e-mail sa akin si ate Raian.

Raian to Alie: Hi Alie, good evening! I have news for you. But, I don't know if it will be considered as good or bad to you.

Alie to Raian: What about?

Raian to Alie: The press has been pestering us if they could meet the awesome Miss Interpret na daw. It's been two years since the first book. And some mole, f***k whoever that is, spoiled them about your second book.

Alie to Raian: So it means, I'll be having a press con ganun ba?

Raian to Alie: Yeah definitely. And behold! Who knows, you'll be invited to some talk shows? Like Abunda Tonight, The Right Now Show, Love Lily, and kung san-san pa! 

Alie to Raian: Did EIC know about this? Did she say yes?

Rain to Alie: Left with no choice ang peg ng lola mo gurl! Maraming magagalit sa satin kapag humindi pa tayo! Panindigan, ganern!
