Alex POV

*rewritten*

I felt like I was stuck in my subconscious, everything was dark and empty but I overheard a lone voice somewhere around me. I guessed the owner of it was talking to me since I was the only one around.

"Can you hear me ? I hope you can" the voice whispered softly.

"They said you can...did you recognise my voice ?" I wanted to answer them but my mouth was sealed shut. That's when I started panicking. I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't I felt paralysed.
I heard screeching next to my head, it resembled the sound of a metal chair scraping against the tile floors with a sudden force. Next I caught loud footsteps going away from me.

"Why is it beeping ?!" The same voice cursed under the tension of some beeping I supposed. I focused on my hearing since it was the only thing I could manage in the moment.

A few voices joined the first one, and I felt something hot against the skin of my neck, like someone's breathing. And I lost all the small conscious I had left.

Left turn....Right turn

Second door to the right...

Once I found my unofficial room, I flung the door open and strutted inside looking for a pair of shoes I had borrowed from Megan. I was going on a small adventure today. I haven't seen Damon in days and I didn't mind it much. I need some space to get used to the whole environment here. I stared at the purple walls of the room trying to remember where the hell I had taken off the shoes. My mind came out blank, so I shrugged and stepped out of the house barefooted.

I walked around the house Damon has snuck me in a week ago. It was late in the day,the sun disappeared hours ago but the whole world was still bright and wide awake.

Glancing down at the floor, I regret not wearing any shoes because there were small pebbles and sharp tree trunks around. Opposite to the rockless soil floor back home. I entertained myself by trying to step on the footsteps others left so that I wouldn't hurt my feet.

A game everybody played with themselves at some point in their lives when they were young.

I heard them before I saw them, a fiery red wolf emerged from the trees with a piece of cloth clenched in her jaw. I saw a hint of wildness in her baby blue eyes I've never seen before. I moved just in time to dodge a tackle from a dark brown wolf who hasn't laid eyes on me yet. The she-wolf stared at me suspiciously while the other one growled at me and snapped his teeth at me. I flinched away but called on my wolf for back up if needed. I didn't want another fight especially with pack members but I wasn't going to let them bite my ass.

The she wolf shifted and tugged the material that was in her teeth over her head quickly. When she was down, she fixed the men t-shirt while the wolf stared at her with adoring eyes. I gazed down at the it to give her some privacy.

"Are you lost or something ?" She frowned at me and eyed me with calculating eyes.

"I'm not lost I'm just walking around" I had an urge to growl at the other wolf  who was puffing his chest in my face but I'm bit my tongue and glared at him only.

"I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to get my body ripped to shreds while going on a promenade" she raised her perfectly sculpted eyebrow at me.

"I guess you missed the big announcement, I belong to this pack now" I winced inwardly thinking of belonging to another pack and not home.

They both looked taken back by what I just said and I saw their eyes freeze for a minute so I waited quietly for them to finish their conversation.
