I hate you

Alex POV

I was already getting dressed when Megan started knocking on the door like a mad women mumbling incoherent words.

"Megan just open the damn door" I yelled for her enough to hear me over her noise.
She did as I said and she stood in front of me with tears in her eyes.

"Meg ? What's wrong " I asked I tossed the brush that was in my hand on the bed and steadied her with one arm and closed the door with the other.
I placed her on the bed and sat next to her.

"I a-am I-"

"You're what ? Meg tell me" I said softly, she was really scaring me.

"Iampregnant" she said which I didn't catch.

"You're what ?"

"I am pregnant" she said again fidgeting with her fingers

"AHH I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU" I squealed giving her a bear hug.

"I CAN'T WAIT TO SE- wait aren't you excited ?" I frowned at her

"Of course I am b-but....I'm scared how am I going to tell Jona " she admitted

"Meg don't worry we're all here for you plus Jonathan  is going to be thrilled, I'll kick his ass if he's not" I joked making her chuckle.

"And you can tell him today, there is a party, one of the members found his mate" I said grinning.

Apparently every time a member find his mate, we make a small party to welcome him or her to the pack, this is like a tradition here.

"Thanks Alex, really what do I do without you" she hugged me tightly and whiped her tears.

"Probably die or go crazy" I told her jokingly, earning me a small slap on my shoulder.

"Are you okay now ? Because I'm starving" I asked her and put my hair in a ponytail.

"Yeah let's go I'm starving too" she said linking her arm in mine.

After breakfast Megan and I decided to go for a outside, a really familiar blonde came running towards us and hugged my legs.

"Good morning Luna" she said in her small voice

"Morning angel" I kneeled down to her level and hugged her back.

"Can you play with us ?" She asked using her puppy eyes

"As much as that sounds fun, we can't we're going for a run, maybe another time" I told her, she pouted but then nodded her head and ran of with the other kids.

"You're good with kids" Megan said, I chuckled

"I used to take care of my little sister" I smiled remembering how we used to make a mess of everything, she nodded her head with a small smile.

When we were deep in the forest, we took of our clothes tucking them in some bushes and shifted.
We ran and raced and just tackled each other, for a minute I forgot all the problems it feels nice knowing you have someone to help you keep your mind off things.

I saw Megan freeze for a second when I looked at her, her eyes looked lost and I knew someone was mind-linking her.
When she came out of it, ran off and came back in human form dressed, she looked at me and spoke.

"Jonathan says if we want to be ready at 6 for the party we should start getting ready, it's already 1 o'clock, let's go" She said and ran off to the pack house.

I groaned and followed behind her, when I got to where I hid my clothes, I made sure nobody was there and I shifted and got dressed.

When the pack house was in view I saw Megan with crossed arms looking at an amused Jonathan, who was mimicking her movement, she pushed  him lightly making him chuckle, she turned around and when her eyes fell on me, she waved her arms around in a 'hurry up' motion, I rolled my eyes at her and took my sweet time walking towards them.

"You're annoying" she said glaring at me, I just shrugged.
She caught my hand and dragged me to her room, literally.
I plopped down on the king size bed, while she went to her walk in closet and picked out dresses, she came out and in her hand she held a stack of dresses, telling me to try them on.

I finally settled on a red lacy dress which ended on mid thigh, it came a little more puffy from my waist down, I paired it with nude heels and I added some bracelets.
Megan curled my hair and added some makeup.

She was wearing a dark blue lacy dress that stopped also at mid thigh, she had a black belt on her waist, and paired it with black heels.

"We look hot" she said

"Megan you're a miracle worker" I told her looking myself up and down, yeah she did a really great job.

"And we're not late actually, surprisingly we're on time" she grinned looking at the digital clock.

We were walking in the back yard,Megan was walking in front of me and I was right on her tail, she stopped abruptly and turned to look at me,a worried look on her face.

"Umm maybe we should go the other way" she said blocking my view behind her

"Why ?" I asked confused

"Oh look there's chocolate" she took my hand in her pulling me to the other side, but I looked behind us and I wished I didn't, I stopped in my place pulling Meg to a stop too.

I felt like a dagger was dug in my chest, there was a fire burning in my heart and head, I gritted my teeth and shook my head ignoring the pain.

A red haired girl was kissing Damon, he had his back to me but I could see his hands on her waist ,and hers were tangled in his hair.
I was waiting for him to push her off, yell at her, but that never happened.
They pulled apart she had a grin on her face, when her eyes caught my staring she smiled at me.

Damon turned around and his eyes wided, regret flashing in them, he tried to catch come closer but I flinched back, I didn't cry, I didn't yell, I just stood there not believing my eyes, Sienna whimpered in my head, I blinked back the tears forming in my eyes, and looked at him with a hard cold glare.

"Alex let me explain it-"he said his pained

"Explain ? You want to explain?" I snapped at him, his eyes looked around us and I know we attracted the whole pack because of the silence was present, but that didn't stop me.

"I'm such an idiot for trusting you, I thought....I thought you could change and at least try to love me, you showed me that you could and that you could  change your heartless self, but I was wrong, so fucking wrong, I trusted you with all my heart and I was blinded by my love for you,I knew all the stories,I heard them all, but you never showed me one fuckin reason to believe them, I made myself believe that they were rumors, and I turn my back for a few hours and you go kissing another girl ?
You've started ignoring me for the past few days,and if you think I was mad before you don't want to know what I'm feeling right now.
I hate you Damon,I hate you for everything that you've done for me, but most of all I hate myself for being so stupid and believing all those lies that you told me, I'm such an idiot " I stopped to take a breat, I chuckled :

"You know it's funny how a month ago I was just another rogue, waiting to find her mate so that he can save her and love her unconditionally, I hate myself for believing that you could love, I hate myself for letting you mark me and now I can't run away again because of this stupid mark because if I do we will both die and another reason why I hate myself is for caring for you and I don't want anything to happen to you"

I finished pouring my heart out, I didn't wait for him to speak, I shifted on my spot and ran off.
