A true Luna

Alex POV

"Healing after the death of a baby or a child takes a lot more than just time, it's not as easy as that so be gentle on yourself and take all the time that you need, a mother never gets over losing her child, it doesn't matter how long it's been or how old her child was, grief does not ever expire " my mother's voice broke at the end breaking my heart with it.

She was speaking with Megan right now, when Megan woke up she bursted into tears at the news and since then she wouldn't get out of her room,it's been three days.
I tried talking to her but I didn't know what to say, I can't even imagine the overwhelming sadness she's going through
She would only speak to Jona who isn't in a much better situation, you can't blame them they lost their baby.

My father is okay I guess, he woke up while he was getting stitched and let's say he wasn't to happy about it.

Dad said he wasn't attacked by rogue, not even werewolves, he isn't sure who attacked but all we know is that they aren't werewolves.

Everyone in the pack is also fine, but some kids had to get treatment because they also couldn't handle the huge amount of wolf bane.

With the right amount of Wolf bane we could get killed, the intruders actually mixed it with some gaz so it doesn't effect Alphas.

I was in the training ground, we were all in pairs fighting, I was paired with a girl nsmed Kathryn who was almost my height maybe a few inches taller, she was training to be a warrior, I had to admit she was really good, she could knock out a person with just one hard punch, I actually saw some guys cower away when she passed, I like her a lot, she's really outgoing and funny, she also has beautiful blue eyes and I envy her red hair.

I was about to pin her to the ground when howls and thuds were heard coming from the borders.

My eyes widened and my heart skipped a beat, everyone else must have had the same thoughts as me because they got in their fighting positions.

They're attacking.

Wolves emerged form the trees, leading them were my parents?

I let a sigh escape, these were my parents, my old pack, I grinned once I saw the familiar wolves, I missed them, even though my friends weren't my number one fans, I still do miss them,it's been three years already.

The blue moon pack shifted and they got dressed behind trees, once they were all out from behind the tree, Damon appeared behind me and held my hand in his leading me to welcome the other pack.
I grinned up at him while he smiled down at me, then he shifted his gaze to look at my old pack, while he had his cold face, emotionless, I groaned but didn't argue with him.

I didn't know what I expected but when my old friends and pack saw me, their faces turned into scowls and glares, I flinched a little by their reaction and frowned.

Damon must've noticed the glares coming my way because he frowned too and raised an eyebrow at me in a silent question.

"Don't even ask I don't know why they're being like this" I said in our link.

"Well I don't like it" he said clenching his jaw

I tightened my grip on his hand and rubbed the back of his hand with my thumb.
He relaxed a bit but glared back at them, I just rolled my eyes i don't care what they think of Me anymore, it wasn't a secret that they hated my gut before so it didn't hurt me at all now.

I hugged my mum and my dad kissed my forehead, then headed back to stand next to Damon, my parents followed behind me and stood next to us.

We called our pack and they stood next to my old pack listening to what we had to say.

My dad started speaking about everything that's happening and what's about to happen, the blue moon pack will be staying here to train with us, so that we could try the tactics and so on.
Damon spoke a little after that, when they were both done they asked if anyone had a question.

A guy from my old pack raised his hand and my father nodded for him to speak.

"But Alpha you never said that we were helping her " he spoke emphasising ' her'.

Growls echoed from my pack and from my parents and from Damon his chest vibrating behind my back, he tightened his grip on my waist,I just rolled my eyes at the boy's stupidity, he just go himself into deep shit.

Damon open his mouth to speak but my dad beat him to it.

" She might not be apart of our pack anymore , but she is still my daughter and she might be your next Luna so watch your mouth boy if you would like to live" my dad spat at the boy who looked like he just saw a ghost.

"All of you listen to me, I know some of you, if not all of you, hate me, you can say and think whatever you want about me, I.don't.care,I don't give a fuck about what you think, you're not here to judge me, you're here to help us finish those rogues and if you don't want to you better leave right now, I don't want you messing around here, get out of here now" I hissed and looked around waiting to see if some will leave, they did, some of them shifted at the spot and took of in the woods, back to their territory I guess.

" Anyone else ?" I asked the others raising my eyebrow at them, nobody moved, I nodded my head dismissing them.

I turned around to look at my parents and Damon, my parents were smiling widely at me, while Damon was looking at me with admiration and adoration.

" Spoken like a true Luna" Damon whispered in my ear, kissing me under my earlobe making me shiver.

"I love you" I whispered burying my head in his chest.

"I love you too" he said inhaling my scent.

"Alpha the rogues are here"
