He is the traitor?!

Alex POV

We all stopped to look at Jona waiting for him to say the traitors name.

"David thinks that it's Summer, he said he saw her multiple times sneaking out of her room and disappear into the forest" Jonathan said

We all nodded our heads but I was a little unsure of this, I've spoken to Summer many times, she's a sweet 16 year old girl, she's really pretty and really kind, I never thought she would so something like that, she never said that she found her mate and Scott told us before dying that Ryan has locked the traitor's mate, maybe she said that  because she doesn't want anyone to suspect anything.

"Can I talk to her before ? That doesn't sound like something she would do" I said making Damon frown at me, he shook his head

"Why ? please Damon I feel like I need to talk to her" I don't even know why I am insisting this much but I really need to talk to her

"Fine but I'm coming with" he said

"No I want to be alone with her, plus I'm her Luna she can't lie to me, and if she does I will know" I answered, Damon sighed knowing I won, and I couldn't help but grin at him

"But take Jonathan with you" He said, I shrugged knowing he will stay outside

"Lead the way" Jonathan chuckled and he took me to Summer.

He lead me outside, I raised an eyebrow at him, isn't he supposed to take me to her room ?
We continued walking and I just kept my mouth shut waiting to see where he is taking me.

We arrived at...the cells...

"Jonathan you locked her in a cell ? You don't even know if she really is the traitor" I shrieked and glared at him

"Alpha's order" he said shrugging, I gaped at him, is he serious?

"Take me to her cell now" I demanded glaring at the wall

Jonathan did as I said and lead me to Summer's cell, she was sitting on the floor with her legs curled to her chest and her head was down, you could hear small wimpers and sniffs coming from her meaning that she was crying.

"Oh Summer please stop crying" I said softly and motioned for Jonathan to open  the door for me once he did I dismissed him, he bowed his head and left us alone.

"A-Alex ? " she looked up wide eyed and whipped her tears

"Summer, why didn't you tell me you, I could've helped you" I said

"A-alex I-I swear I-I didn't do anything, I-I d-don't find my mate y-yet" she hiccuped in her sentence, her words and her eyes said that she was sincere

"But why did David say that he saw you sneaking out of your room, not once, but many times" I asked her becoming really confused

"I-I can't say" she whispered

"Summer I need to know, if you want me to help you, you have to tell me " she didn't answer me, she just looked down and her eyes teared again

"You know what they do to traitors?" I said worried, she shook her head

"They kill them" I whipered looking her in the eyes.

Her whole body tensed and fear flashed in her eyes, she sighed heavily and ran her hand through her hair

"It's Richard" she said , Richard was Summer's dad, but not her biological father, her mother got pregnant with her by another man and after that she found her mate who is Richard.
Richard loves Summer's mother but not Summer, I don't understand why, Summer once told me how he would yell at her when he got the chance.

"H-He s-started h-hitting m-me a
w-while b-back, H-He s-said i-if I
t-told anyone H-He w-will h-hurt Aiden, so I-I just g-get o-out w-when he gets angry" she said, Aiden is Summer's little brother

I stared at her shocked, I can't believe that Richard could do that, I nodded my head and stood up bringing her up with me,  she didn't protest and walked with me silently.

I opened Damon's office door and saw  Damon, Jona and my parents talking, all eyes were on us once we entered.
When Damon's eyes fell on Summer he stood up abruptly making the chair fall and growled at Summer.
Summer shrunk back and whimpered bowing her head.
Damon was going to say something but I stopped him.

"Damon stop, she isn't the traitor, and she isn't lying"  I said, Damon looked at me shocked.

"But how can she explain snea-" I again interupted him

"She can explain and she did, but I don't think she want to in front of everyone" I said my eyes flickering around the room

After explaining everything to Damon, he still seamed unconvinced, I told him to trust me on this one, and I would've known if she was lying.
He said he will trust me on this one but he will still keep an eye on Summer, I didn't mind at least now he is looking for the real traitor.
And also I promised Summer to help her in her issues.
Summer was dismissed and she left us with our thoughts.

"Maybe we should just have a pack meeting and tell the traitor to reveal his identity" Damon said

"He won't, but think about it, the day you got the call where someone threatened you, who knew that I was your mate ?" I asked him

"Jonathan only" I shook my head

"Yeah he did but obviously it's not him, who knew that you took me in your room" I asked again.

"David and everyone in the pack" he said groaning.

"Everyone knew ?" I frowned

"I asked David to take you to my room, then the pack smelled a rogue in the house and after that I told Jonathan about you being my mate " Damon said, that leaves us with ... all the members of the pack

"Alpha there's a rogue"  David said in the pack mine and Damon's link, though he was only speaking to Damon, I feel like that guy still hates me.

"I'm coming" Damon answered him

"No no no Alpha it's okay I can handle him, he's alone " David said too eager

"Okay" Damon said simply, but the look in his eyes said that he knew David was acting weird

"We should go check it out" Damon said and I nodded

We headed to the forest and followed David's scent there was another rogue's scent too, both of them were in human form, they weren't fighting they were talking in hushed tones.

Everything was clear,
David is the traitor
