Nerd / Erica Reyes

"Hey geek," the blonde kisses her girlfriend's cheek, sitting down next to her in a library chair. (Y/N)'s cheek flushed red and she shyly smiled, "Hi Erica," (Y/N) replied before going back to her card collection.
"You're still on this? Didn't you make me help you sort these out last night?" Erica groaned, fingers spreading apart the cards (Y/N) had piled up.
(Y/N) frowned and swatted her hand, "Hey, hey! Those are ultra rare cards and I haven't put on a plastic slip for them. Here," (Y/N) handed Erica a handful of plastic covers, same sized as the cards. "And those were Pokémon cards, these are Yu-Gi-Oh. They're completely different." (Y/N) pouted and Erica began slipping the cards into the film.
"Bakugan, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh- but aren't they all the same?" Erica set one of the plastic-covered card and raised an eyebrow. She knew they were different since (Y/N) had spent so much time teaching her how to play the games, but she just wanted to get a raise from (Y/N).
(Y/N)'s eyes flashed horror and her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach. "Babe, did you really just ask that?" (Y/N) was offended and she looked like she was in actual pain. (Y/N) began rambling about the differences in the games and TV shows were, stuttering on a few words because she was so upset.
Erica continued putting slips on the cards, eyes on (Y/N) the whole time she rambled with a smile.
"And Yu-Gi-Oh is all about strategy, how smart you are and how good you can combine your cards to make an ultimate monster, bug, or whatev- You're smiling... Why are you smiling?" (Y/N) eyed Erica, then looked at the cards to see if she'd done anything to them. "Erica, why are you smiling?"
Erica shook her head and began laughing. (Y/N) frowned and scooted her chair closer to Erica and placed both hands on Erica's thighs. "Ericaaa," (Y/N) whined, dropping her head in her lap. "Did you really just make me explain the difference to you, just to get a laugh?"
"No," Erica bit the inside of her cheek to keep her from laughing. "Well, yeah," she stuck the last card on top of the deck, knowing (Y/N) will soon grumble about the order and placement. "I just think your nerd-talk is cute." Erica ran her fingers through (Y/N)'s hair.
"We're all nerds, okay? I'm a nerd for certain things and you're a nerd for like, makeup and stuff. And your nerd-talk does not satisfy me one bit," (Y/N) huffed, pulling herself up from Erica's lap.
Erica leaned down to place a soft kiss on (Y/N)'s lips, "Well that's okay. I love hearing you talk about Pokégan and Yu-Gi-Mon," Erica teased.
"You mean, Pokémon, Bakugan, and Yu-Gi-Oh?" (Y/N) didn't seem to notice that Erica was just playing around, which made Erica love (Y/N) even more.
"Yes, you nerd," Erica rolled her eyes, pulling (Y/N)'s arms up from her lap. "Now come here and kiss me, you loser."
