Allison has been my best friend since she came to Beacon Hills yet I hid a tiny detail about myself from her. I don't know why, I guess it never really had to come up. Our lives were already insane since Peter was resurrected. On top of the supernatural, we had exams coming up.
We were on her bed studying for biology when we both huffed.
"How did our families deal with being hunters and school?" I asked.
"It seems near impossible!" she threw her hands in the air before pinching the bridge of her nose.
"We need a break. Target practice?" I suggested and put my book down.
"Girl talk," she prompted.
"I don't even know where to begin, it's been so long," I said.
"I just need to get my mind of bio and the supernatural, Y/N."
"Well... I guess there is something I've been meaning to to tell you but the craziness has interfered," I mumbled.
"Y/N!" she giggled.
"I'm not sure how you're gonna take it, though."
"You're my best friend! It's not gonna change how I think about you."
"Allison, I'm gay," I admitted. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.
"No way!" she exclaimed. I furrowed my eyes at her.
"I'm being completely serious," I said.
"I'm gay, too, Y/N," she confessed and my response mimicked hers. Our smiles just grew and we hugged each other. When we let go, I spoke first.
"I'll support you, you know? If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here."
"And I'm here for you, Y/N. Who would've thunk it, huh?"
"I'm just glad you're still my best friend and now you know me better than my parents," I said.
"We'll always be best friends, Y/N. It's especially great since we both come from generations of hunters," Allison hugged me again.
"I'll always have your back... and your front," I replied, making us giggle. I knew then that our friendship was one that could withstand anything.
