(Y/N) was a particularly calm, grounded girl who knew what she wanted and how she wanted it. That was until she set eyes her eyes upon Isaac Lahey. Just the thought of his curls and devilish grin made her heart skip a beat. She had every intention of spending tonight alone, watching her favorite romantic comedy, until she received a text from Isaac.
Isaac: Hey, can you come over? Emergency pack meeting!
(Y/N): Okay. See you in ten.
Part of Isaac knew that (Y/N) would be disappointed in him for lying, but the other half of him craved her. Her smile, her heartbeat, her oblivion to the fact that he knew how she felt. Everything about her made Isaac forget the rest of the world existed.
Isaac heard (Y/N) walking up to the front door, which made him to run down the stairs and answer the door before she could even knock.
"Werewolf powers?" She giggled. Her giggle is the sweetest sound I've ever heard, Isaac thought to himself.
"Yeah. Listen, the rest of the pack cancelled." He sighed, trying to make it sound like he was hurt.
"Oh, that's a bit disheartening. I got out of bed for nothing." She smiled, sending chills down Isaac's arms.
"Hey, do you want to do something? Maybe a walk?" He suggested.
"I'd like that. It's so beautiful out here tonight. The stars are really bright." She looked up at the sky, knowing the only thing brighter than the sun was the passion behind Isaac's eyes. He had so much love to give, just not to the right people.
Isaac grabbed his jacket and closed the door gently behind him, trying not to wake up the rest of the McCall house. The pair started walking down the suburban streets, occasionally stopping to admire the view.
(Y/N) started to get a rush of feelings for Isaac. She so desperately wanted to be his girlfriend. She wanted all of his love and affection. Her heart started to race.
"Your heart is beating really fast. What's wrong?" Isaac asked, being the oblivious one for once.
"Isaac, we need to talk." She sighed, her voice barely audible. "Ever since we first met, I've had feelings for you. I think you're funny and sweet and overall amazing. That's also why I know you wouldn't fall for someone like me. I don't have wolfy powers or stunning good looks. I'm just average."
Isaac grabbed (Y/N)'s hand to stop her rambling. As endearing as he found it, it crushed his soul to hear her degrade herself like that. He needed to put a stop to it.
As soon as she felt Isaac's warm hand touch hers, she stopped talking. Her breath was shamelessly taken away by the boy.
The two walked a little farther with no reply. Isaac racked his brain for the right thing to say. He didn't want to come off too strong, but he didn't want her to get the impression that he loved her any less than she loved him.
"Don't talk about the girl I love so poorly." He stopped, turning to face the beautiful, now blushing, girl.
"Love?" She muttered under her breath. Barely able to comprehend what Isaac had just said, (Y/N) turned to him and kissed him.
Isaac felt the warmth of (Y/N)'s lips, slowly kissing back. The kiss got substantially more heated before she pulled away.
"Does this mean what I think this means?" She grinned.
"Yes, it means I love you, too." He said, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer to him.
