You had done your best to reduce the color of the purple bruises that decorated your otherwise smooth skin, given to you by none other than your self proclaimed enemy-with-benefits. Liam had done quite some work on you, if you did say so yourself. The seemingly innocent member of the McCall pack was nothing but. At first, he had been a little hesitant about the deal you two had made. No one could find out, of course. However, once he had gotten comfortable with the whole sex-with-no-strings-attached thing, things had taken quite the turn.
You craned your neck in the bathroom mirror, hoping that they weren't as noticeable as they had been a few moments ago. You were standing in the girls restroom at school, applying a coat of concealer to your neck and all other areas exposed to Liam the previous night and praying that no other girls walked in until you were finished. Perfect, you smirked to yourself. You had always been pretty clever when it came to makeup tricks, and your skills were finally paying off. You packed away your things, double checked your reflection, and quickly exited the bathroom before the bell signaling first period rang.
Your teacher was just about to close the door when you rushed in, greeting her with a bright smile, to which she responded by rolling her eyes and allowing you to take your assigned seat in front of Liam himself. Mason eyed the two of you curiously when Liam leaned forward, his breath tickling your ear.
"You're late," he whispered, knowing exactly what had made you late in the first place.
"You shouldn't have been in my house until four in the morning and leaving hickeys all over me, then," you replied just as quietly, turning around in your chair to give him a sarcastic smile that he could see right through.
"Miss Y/L/N, Mr. Dunbar, something interesting happening back there?" Your teacher asked, already bored with your antics. It wasn't even five minutes into the period yet and she was done, not that you could blame her. You turned back around to face the front of the room, giving her a wave.
"Nope, Liam is just unprepared for class, as per usual. We should buy him a pack of pencils for Christmas, eh, Mrs. Green?" When she didn't respond, you grimaced, taking out your own pen and notebook.
"At least I was on time for class, right?" Liam replied, nudging your ankle with his foot under the desk. "She's always late, I wonder why... something better to do other than coming to school, Y/N?" Mason bit back his laughter, a hand covering his mouth to block the smile on his face from a pissed off Mrs. Green.
"You think you're really funny, don't you?" You asked him, not daring to turn around. The faint blush on your cheeks would give your embarrassment away immediately. Luckily, you had learned to keep your heartbeat steady around werewolves and the like.
"I think I'm adorable," Liam stated, smirking to himself when Mrs. Green shouted at the both of you to keep your mouths shut. Mason passed Liam a note discreetly about a half hour into class, when the commotion had died down a little.
Keep that flirting up, and the entire class is going to think you two are going at it after class every day. Mason didn't even know about yours and Liam's deal. Liam chuckled nervously, scoffing at his best friend. "As if," he muttered, shaking his head, but somewhat wishing that he could just tell Mason about what was going on.

You headed over to your lunch table with the pack, taking your usual seat in between Malia and Kira. Liam sat directly across from you, the smallest of grins slipping on his face when you plopped down in your seat. No one noticed except for you, doodling a smiley face on your notebook and lightly turning the book so that you could show him. You guys didn't show any affection for one another in front of the pack. It was a sort of unspoken rule.
Liam pushed around the food on his plate, not really hungry. He was busy thinking about what Mason had said. Were you two being too... obvious? Was it that obvious that he liked you, that you were actually having sex with him after class? He frowned at his plate.
"Y/N," he complained loudly, causing your head to snap up in surprise. "You just kicked me. Have some personal space, would you?" You scowled at him, moving your foot back slightly.
"Where would you rather my foot be, Liam?" You smiled sweetly at him. "Up your ass? I could certainly arrange that if you just stand up-"
Malia grabbed your chin in her hand abruptly, turning your face so that you were staring at her. In one swift motion, her hand was at the side of your neck, wiping away all traces of makeup on your skin and revealing the hickeys underneath. "I could see them through your concealer," she explained, still wiping furiously at your skin to get all of the tan substance off. "Nice try hiding them, though. I know how hard it is for humans to hide those sort of things since they can't heal."
"Malia, shut up-" You started, about to clamp a hand down over her mouth when Stiles appeared from the other side of the table, examining your neck for himself.
"You, young lady, are sixteen years old! Who could possibly be giving these to you, and why is he allowed in your room at night?" Stiles declared, moving his hand away from your bright red face to point accusingly at a boy across the room. "It was him, wasn't it? I'll kill him!"
"Oh my god, Stiles, it wasn't him, I don't know him!" You exclaimed, shaking your head rapidly and dragging Stiles back down to his seat. Malia sniffed your neck, earning a couple of strange looks from passing students.
"I know who it was," she shrugged, leaning back in her seat. "Liam." Everyone else turned to stare at him, bewilderment evident on their features. Liam sank low in his seat, his face bright red to match you.
"But... we thought you guys hated each other?" Scott asked, looking back and forth between you and Liam. Liam shook his head, rubbing awkwardly at his neck.
"Obviously it was a farce," Lydia said.
"Aw, look at them, they're blushing! We unlocked their secret!" Kira cheered, pinching your cheek affectionately as you swatted away her hand with an even darker flush on your face. "They like each other!"
"Aww," the pack cooed, ruffling your hair and Liam's. "So adorable."
After enduring an entire lunch hour of them teasing you and Liam until both of you wanted to crawl under a rock forever and die, you were finally permitted to go back to class. You and Liam were in different classes this hour, and you weren't too sure if you were happy or sad about that. Liam made his way over to you nervously, a blush still on his cheeks as he spoke. "So... see you tonight?"
You stared at him for a minute before grabbing him by the front of his shirt and kissing him forcefully right there in the middle of the hallway. His lips slid easily over yours, slightly chapped but still smooth as ever, about to press even harder against yours when you pulled away, licking your lips. "You better buy me dinner first, Dunbar."
He shook his head in disbelief, sighing out so that only Mason, who was standing beside him with a startled expression, could hear, "She's something, huh?"
