She's gone, and you didn't even get to say goodbye. You remember the piercing sounds of Lydia's screams vibrate through the air, and you remember Scott's face as he looked at the one person he loved, lifeless in his arms. You hadn't even noticed you'd fallen to your knees until Stiles helped you up off the muddy ground. You could barely walk, your limbs were heavy and numb, it all felt like a dream, but when you woke up the next morning, and she was no where to be seen, you knew it wasn't. It was a nightmare.
Everyone had coped with the death of Allison differently. Scott never speaking about it, keeping every thought and feeling to himself. Lydia still trying to believe it wasn't real, that she would come running through the door some day alive again. Stiles had coped the same way you did, beating himself up for it all, thinking that it was his fault. You told him it wasn't, he wasn't himself when she died and that it wasn't fair for him to take the blame.
A lot of nights you stayed up, refusing to close your eyes because you were afraid of what you would see. The nightmares every night got increasingly worse, to the point where they felt so real that you would wake yourself up to the sound of your own screams. Your father tired to help, but there was no way he could, all you would tell him is "I just need space" because you did. You wanted to be alone, you didn't want to the people you loved so much see you hurting as bad as you were.
The looks people gave you as you walked through the hallways only upset you more. What exactly were they looking at you for? What did you have to offer? Was it proof that she was dead what they wanted? Or did they simple just want to watch you sulk in your pain?
You caught up with Stiles in the school parking lot. When you first approached him his back was turned to you as he worked on the engine of his jeep.
"More ducktape?" You let out a soft laugh, making him jump in surprise.
"God you scared me!" He scratched the back of his head. "Seems like you finally made it through a whole day of school, are you feeling better?"
Suddenly your mood changed, and your gaze went from Stiles to your feet. You really wished you could say loud and proud with a huge smile on your face, "I feel much better now!" But you couldn't, not when you barely get a nights sleep without having a nightmare, or being constantly reminded that someone that was once so close to you, is dead.

The drive to Stiles's house was quiet, not because you were mad at him, but because you didn't know what to say. You just wanted all that you felt to disappear. You wanted to let go of her death, of stiles's being the nogitsune, but it was just too hard. It was like every time you began to move on, a thought of the pass would pull you right back in.
When you walked in Stiles's room, he smell of lavender and body soap filled your senses. His room was actually clean, something that seemed odd to you. "My dad cleaned it," Stiles closed his bedroom door behind him, "I hate it."
You let out another laugh as you walked around his room. A large bulletin board hung on his wall with pictures of everyone tacked to it. Your finger traced over a photo you gave him for Christmas the previous year, the whole pack at Lydia's house opening presents, everyone wearing the biggest smile on their faces.
"When did you do this?" You turned to Stiles, who was looking at the pictures with you.
"Couple weeks ago.." His voice trailed off, "I have just in case I need to remember who I am." The fear in his voice made your heart sink.
"Stiles it will never come back, okay? There is nothing to be afraid of. It's gone." You reassured him firmly, looking directly in his reddish brown eyes. You wanted him to know he was safe, because he was, you nor the pack would let anything like nogitsune happen to him again.
He took a deep breath in, "I hope so."

After hours of Stiles helping you catch up on school work, you found yourself laying next to him on his bed. He was staring up at the ceiling, telling you about an upcoming lacrosse game and how coach will probably bench him again. When he stopped talking the room filled with silence, something that wasn't uncommon at this point.
"When are you going to tell me what's going on in your head?" Stiles asked, his voice seeming softer than usual.
"What do you mean?" You questioned, making him let out a deep sigh.
"I mean you've been so quiet, but believe me, I know you have a thousand thoughts running through your mind. But when are you going to talk about it? The longer you keep it bottled up, the more it'l hurt." His words felt like someone was stabbing you in the heart, because all this time you had thought you gave off the impression that you were starting to feel better, but he saw right through you.
"I don't know where to begin."
"Anywhere."
You closed your eyes, thinking of what to say and how to say it. At this point you had no choice but tell him what was going on inside your head, you couldn't lie to him anymore.
"It all keep haunting me, Allison's death, the nogitsune..." You let out a sigh, trying to keep yourself together, "Stiles it's all too much. I don't even get any sleep anymore, because once I close my eyes every single moment that happened from that day floods my mind. The nightmares never stop."
Stiles pulled you in close to his chest, wrapping his arms around you, making you feel safe. You shut your eyes once more to keep the tears from rolling out, he didn't say anything except for, "There's nothing to be afraid of as long as you're with me. He held you close until your eyes slowly fluttered shut, and you feel asleep listening to the slow beats of his heart.

You awoke in a dark room, nothing but one door standing before you. Loud howls and screams vibrated through the cold, wet air as you picked yourself up off the ground. It felt as if you had no control over your body, like someone was playing a video game and you were the main character.
Your feet slowly stumbled towards the door, making the old wooden floor boards creek loudly. Your head was pounding with every small move you made, and your bones ached like someone had thrown you around like a rag doll.
You placed your hand on the door, slowly pushing it open, only to reveal another door. Every time you opened the door before you, there was always another one behind it. It was a never ending cycle.
The fear began to set in when you opened the last door to a small room. A strange figure sat at a desk in the corner, flicking the small lamp the provided the only light in the room on and off.
"Who are you?" You asked, taking one step closer. The figure ignored you, continuing to turn the light on and off over ad over again. The 'click, click' noise the switch made began to drive you crazy.
"Who are you!" You screamed, making the figure freeze in the place.
"Ha," It laughed, making you clench you ball your hands up into a fist. But before you could move, the light turned off, making the room become pitch black. When it turned back on, the figure was standing right in front of you, making you jump back in fear.
"I'm you, silly." You looked the person up and down, it was you, standing before yourself.
"Aw, you look so scared," It spoke, pouting it's lip. Your eyes grew wide, not believing what you were seeing. How could this even be possible?
"I'm.. not scared." You managed to blurt out.
"See, what you don't understand is I know you are, and how would I know that, you're probably thinking?" It moved closer to you, only making you stumbled backwards. "We're the same person. The means we share every emotion, every feeling, every thought.."
You shook your head, mumbling "No, No, No," over and over again.
"I know that you feel so guilty about Allison, and the funny this is, is that they tell you it wasn't your fault!" It laughed, sending shivers down your spine.
"But it was," The simple words made another scream rip through your throat, but it only made it speak louder. "You shouldn't have ever went after Lydia, but you did.." Another laugh erupted from their mouth, this time louder, scarier.
"You killed Allison."
"No-"
"It's all your fault."
Your back slammed against the door, and now you had no where to go. As the figure walked closer and closer, you hand jerked the door knob, but was stuck.
"You killed Allison." It said once more. This time something in you clicked, you turned around to see the figure now only inches away from you, and before it could speak the same words again, your hand pushed it back, sending it flying to the ground.
"You're wrong!" You screamed as the figure stood back up, "I didn't kill her, I didn't kill her." You repeated the words, hoping it would go away, but it didn't.
"See.." It began, slowly walking back towards you. Your chest moved up and down as you tried to push the fear out, but noting worked, the more you tried the worse it got.
The figure was now standing before you again, but this time it's head hung low, refusing to make eye contact. "See.. what?" Suddenly it head snapped up, revealing it's pitched black eyes and sharp teeth. The sight took all the air out of you, and it felt like you were slowly being suffocated. The figures mouth was moving, but there was no sound. All you could hear was a soft voice saying "WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP." And then darkness rushed over you.
[NIGHTMARE OVER]
"WAKE UP!" Your eyes flew open, and immediately you took a deep breath. You're body trembled in fear as you tried to make our where you were, and what was happening.
You saw a familiar face above you, looking down at you with worried eyes. Your eyes traveled around the room, and stopped when you saw Sheriff Stilinski standing next to Stiles's bed.
"I had another nightmare..." You trembled.
"You're okay, that's all that matters." Stiles said.
When you tried to shift your body, you noticed his arms were wrapped tightly around you. "I didn't know what to do.." You stuttered over your words, but before you could finish what you were saying, your broke out in tears, only making Stiles pull you in to a tighter hug.
"I was so scared." Stiles rubbed your back until your tears stopped, and you returned to a calmer state.
"You're safe, okay?" He reassured you, "You'll always be safe as long as you're with me."
