Attitude Adjustment / Cora Hale

The fire crackled at their feet, shooting sparks of light every few minutes. Marshmallows, chocolate and boxes of graham crackers had been thrown under everyone's chairs, most of them empty of food.
Allison had made herself comfortable in Scott's lap hours ago but just recently strewn a blanket over them. Stiles made himself busy with annoying Derek, chucking marshmallows at him in hopes to get a few stuck in his hair. Isaac sat a few feet away, glancing towards Cora. He knew he shouldn't but it was too much fun to see her worked up. Using a stick, he poked the girl next to Cora. She lifted her head, one eyebrow raised in question. "So, since everyone else is, wanna come over here and snuggle?" She laughed and threw a twig in his direction. Cora's eyes flashed gold in the dark and a snarl ripped through the dark, causing everyone to go silent.
Isaac, achieving his goal, smirked. "Problem, Hale?"
"Go shove that up your ass." She flicked her head, motioning towards the stick in his hand.
The girl beside them huffed, ushering Cora up and disappearing inside Stiles' house. "What did I tell you about them?"
Cora rolled her eyes and sat on Stilinski's bed. "That they're just messing around." She flicked her hand, urging her to continue. Cora sighed, rather loudly before continuing. "That they're doing it to piss me off."
She nodded. "Alright, so why do you keep getting so worked up? If you know they're messing around, stop showing them that you're pissed off." Cora looked away, avoiding looking at her.
"I'm sorry, okay? It's just.." She sighed and began picking at the stray strings hanging from Stiles' comforter. It wasn't her fault that she was protective of her. "Annoying." Before Cora could react, she was looking into bright eyes.
"I know but they're our friends. They're aware that we're together and do it to raise your blood pressure." Cora's lips quirked in a smile. She just had to kick their asses later as payback.
