"(Y/N)!" (Y/N)'s little brother, Vincent, chirped running to her. The four year old clung to her legs, hugging them to his chest.
(Y/N giggled, leaning down to pick him up. He instantly wrapped his legs around her waist while she kept him hoisted up.
"I'm leaving some money, just in case you wanna order take out," her father kissed (Y/N)'s forehead before moving to Vincent's.
(Y/N) shook her head, "Dad, I know how to cook. I've been living in my own loft with Peter for quite some time now." she sighed. Her father requested that she watched her little brother while he and her stepmother went out on a date. (Y/N) happily agreed. She barely got to see Vincent and wanted to spend more quality time with him.
"Ugh," (Y/N)'s father groaned, "Don't remind me." James was not fond of his daughter dating someone older than her. Peter was a few years older than her, making her father uneasy about the relationship. Even when Peter was very polite when he visited (Y/N)'s family, he still never seemed to win over her father.
"Dad," (Y/N) groaned. "Don't keep Marilyn waiting." her saying that, must've made something click in his head.
"Oh dear!" he quickly turned on his head, checking his watch, "I'm late. Remember, my number is on speed dial on the house phone if you are in trouble." then he closed the door behind him.
(Y/N) turned to her baby brother and gleamed at the boy. "Hey Vinny," she grinned, "So what do you wanna do?"
Before Vincent could answer, the doorbell rang. (Y/N) set the younger boy down, sighing.
"Dad probably left his keys," she muttered going over to the door. When she opened the door, she saw her boyfriend.
Peter towered over her, smirking. "I have my keys right here, sweetheart." he patted his pocket, making the keys jingle before pressing a light kiss to her lips, "Can I come in?"
"Babe, I'm babysitting," (Y/N) groaned. Vincent poked his head out from behind her legs, "Peter?"
Peter let himself in, "Hey buddy," he kneeled down to Vincent. Vincent met Peter a few times, they both ended up being a handful and troublemakers.
(Y/N) deeply sighed, shutting the door, locking it. She already knew what was going to happen. Peter was going to play with Vincent until he fell asleep, excluding her.
She made her way to the kitchen, moving the money and stuck it on the refrigerator with a magnet. (Y/N) pulled out a pot and different ingredients to make Vincent's favourite, spaghetti.
While the water was boiling, she watched as Peter and Vincent shared laughs in the living room with the movie Home flickering on in the background. Peter had Vincent lifted in the air, fingers interlocked as Vincent was doing the Superman pose.
(Y/N) smiled at the sight of her two favourite boys. She leaned against the doorway, watching as the happiness of the both of them filled the room. She'd never seen Peter like this. Peter's weakness was children and (Y/N) adored it.
When she fixed up the pasta and seasoned it with garlic salt, she saw the sauce was finished.
"Boys, dinner's ready!" (Y/N) called, pulling the garlic bread from the oven. She set the cookie sheet on the cooling rack, listening to the tumbling of feet near the kitchen. She fixed up a plate for Vincent, pulling it on the dining room table for him.
"Smells good baby girl," Peter gripped her waist, spinning her around to kiss her. Her arms wrapped around his neck as she went on her toes to press her lips to his. (Y/N) pulled away, gazing into his beautiful blue eyes. Her fingers played with the hair rested on the nape of his neck and she peeked over Peter's shoulder to find Vincent shoving the spaghetti in his mouth.
"He likes you a lot, you know?" (Y/N) murmured, resting her head against Peter. He slipped his hand under the hem of her shirt and traced small circles on her hip. He buried his face into her neck, peppering soft kisses onto the surface of her skin, making her giggle.
"(Y/N)?" a small voice called from behind Peter. (Y/N) gently pushed Peter away and looked down at her brother. He shoved his plate toward her with a pleading glance.
"More?" she questioned the younger boy, earning a nod. (Y/N) plucked the plate from the tiny hands that belonged to her brother and shuffled more pasta and tomato sauce onto the plate. It was Vincent who reached up to grab a piece of garlic bread. Peter lifted the smaller boy so Vincent wouldn't knock it all over.
When Vincent was settled, he ran over to the dinner table. He looked to his sister and her boyfriend, gesturing them to come follow. Peter grabbed two plates, handing one to (Y/N).
"You're great with kids, Peter," (Y/N) complimented while engulfing her spaghetti with red sauce.
Peter turned his head to Vincent, widely grinning. "I can't wait to have our own." (Y/N) stopped to raise her eyebrow at her boyfriend of four years, "Really?" he glanced back at her, nodding.
It was no secret that Peter wanted more little Hales running around. But (Y/N) was surprised when he brought up the thought of children so quickly.
"We'll have a little Hale running around, sooner or later," (Y/N) kissed her boyfriend on the cheek, skipping to meet her brother who was waiting patiently.
And like a family, they ate. Peter liked the view. Sitting across the table from his girlfriend with a little boy who shared some of the same features as her. He was happy with the thought of having little wolf babies, he was happy to be with (Y/N).
