It was just another normal day in AP Biology - where Theo would annoy you until you felt as if you wanted to jump off the nearest cliff. It was happening more often than normal, which annoyed you even more than before. Currently, Theo was poking you constantly with his pen as your teacher, Ms. Finch, droned on carelessly about genomes and such. You had studied the night before, and read ahead of the whole class, meaning you knew all of this anyway. Considering that you didn't need to pay attention, you began to poke Theo back in his ribs.
He growled softly at you, latching onto your arm tightly and pulling it away from him. Giggling, you retracted your arm harshly, "You don't like it when I do it, huh? Well, that's not fair."
He rolled his eyes annoyingly before copying all the notes furiously that he had missed while teasing you. And, just as he was almost done, you pushed his notebook off his desk and onto the floor. Theo immediately groaned loudly, catching the attention of the rest of the class. "Are you kidding me?"
Ms. Finch raised her eyebrows at the two of you, tapping her foot impatiently as Theo recollected his items hastily. When he had finally reopened his notebook, he moved his seat, now sitting across the room. This gave you access to notice his jawline that was extremely sharp, and the stubble that lined his chin. He was exceptionally attractive, and you couldn't deny it at all.
Just as you were beginning to drool, you heard the piercing sound of the bell, and you swung your backpack over your shoulder. You waited for Lydia at the doorway before she finally ran towards you, eyes widened as she bumped shoulders with you. "What?" You laughed.
"You and Theo. I saw you staring at each other," Lydia frowned suddenly, "I just wasn't sure if it was sexual tension or murderous rage."
"Pretty sure it was both," You replied haughtily as you continued your day, ignoring the growing attraction you felt towards Theo. It meant nothing anyway.
