Woooo! This story made it in the thousands! :D thanks to those who're reading!
After that Monday, the rest of the week went by pretty fast; however that didn't take away from all the events that seeped through. Yeah, I mean, I started Listen on Monday, and I was called again on Tuesday, and Thursday. Though, Wednesday... All of us found the verdict of McKenzie, Zach and McKenzie's friend Claire—but I still call her Silicone, because why not? Right?
Since they were still minors, they didn't have to serve jail time. Unfortunately. Although, they did have fines to pay. McKenzie and Claire both were charged with the same amount, $450; since they initially broke into the hotel, McKenzie messed with the electricity, and Claire just ultimately broke stuff in the kitchen—like a bull in a China shop. Zach, though, he got a higher fine. He got charged with all three: Trespassing, vandalism, and Destruction of property.
His fine was $3500 and the fact that they are minors, they were deemed old enough to go through community service. They all have to go through 300 hours of community service. However, in terms of McKenzie and Claire talking to each other, since Claire was thinking of ditching them that day—well, that's a different story; a funny one at that too.
The whole school found out and Sean was caught in the middle. The three tried to pin something on him, but to everyone's surprise, my brother vouched for him. Why? I don't know, but that got Sean off the case. The whole week, the group of three was walking on eggshells.
McKenzie, Zach, and Silicone gave me dirty looks the rest of that week after Wednesday; like it was my fault they were being stupid. I wasn't the one that told them to do that stuff. Sean was slowly straying away from them, and Zach noticed; but whenever he tried to get an explanation out of him, either me, Sarah, or Lolo would help him out. We didn't know why we were doing it, but I guess that's one of the curses of just being the bigger person.
Whatever.
Now, it's Friday night, and I was getting ready for my "date" with Greyson. I had told my family about this date on Tuesday, and they were all a bit worried about the age gap. The fact that he's already been on one tour, and that he was twenty-one scared them. Fabien was just mad, but I assured them that I wasn't gonna do anything.
I was putting on my outfit, fixing my hair, and then afterwards, I put on my shoes. Once I finished, I grabbed my phone, wallet and keys, then headed downstairs.
"Hey Skye." Aunt Joce greeted.
"Hi Auntie." I greeted back.
"You ready?"
"Yep."
"Okay, well, don't be out too late; and be sure to be back by eleven."
"Okay."
She went into the kitchen while I felt my phone vibrate in my back pocket, I slid it unlocked and read the text.
I'm here He texted.
Right when I was gonna text back, the doorbell rang and it bellowed throughout the house. I twisted the knob and he was standing there.
Whoa.
He knows how to dress.
He was wearing dark jeans, a black shirt, and Nike's. It took me a while to rip my eyes away. Once I did, I laughed, "You know, I could've just met you outside at your car."
"Now what kind of gentleman would I be, if I didn't meet your parents?"
"Uh." I still haven't told him...
