"Okay. You know, if you guys keep at it, you're gonna end up ruining my ear." Lolo plugged his fingers in his ears.
"Sorry, Lolo." I laughed.
Sarah and I were giddy little girls because the results of the talent show auditions that were given to us. Members of the committee went to the third period of the ones that passed the audition. Sarah and Lolo got theirs too. Lucky for Sean, no one else saw him. The committee finished the rest of the auditions yesterday.
It's Thursday now.
Lolo, Sarah and I got in and we're going in the show full blast. Unfortunately, McKenzie got in too. She was flaunting it during music.
Didn't see that one coming.
Surprisingly though, so did Sean, I discreetly asked him when he and I were picked to help Uncle Mick get stuff from the backroom. He was gonna perform in the talent show. Sarah, Lolo, and I decided to keep that a secret for his sake.
It said on the list that we got until the day before the talent show to practice what we're gonna do. Then its rehearsal, and the day after is the real deal.
The first of March is tomorrow, the talent show is on March 22nd. This month until that day, I'm gonna do nothing but practice with the occasional work, school, and food sneaking up in my schedule. Sarah, Lolo and I got our heads straight and made a promise to ourselves that we were gonna kill this show and put McKenzie in her place.
The thought of me playing again kept Fabien in a good mood. He did his part in helping me prepare of what's to come.
Although, he couldn't exactly help me with everything.

March 1st
I opened up the door to Listen and Dean and Kat were scrambling around, stashing papers in their book bags and closing their instrument cases getting ready for their class that's starting in an hour. They saw me walk through the entrance and greeted me.
Dean gave me a bear hug and Kat and I kissed each other on the cheek.
It's just another day at work.
As the two left, I went behind the counter and turned on the keyboard that they had set up and began practicing my song for the show. I've only managed to hit a couple keys when the bells at the top of the door chimed.
Customer.
I turned around and standing at the doorway was Greyson.
"Hey." He smiled.
I've been so preoccupied with so many things I forgot that I had a boyfriend for a minute, despite the fact that he and I talk almost every day. Although, lately, he and I have been sending simple messages; and for the past few days, we haven't spoken at all.
I smiled and came around the counter. I jumped on him and kissed him, "Hey. What's up? I've been trying to call and text you."
He shrugged, "Sorry. I've been busy."
"It's alright." I said, assuring him.
"Whatcha been up to?"
"Hmm. This and that."
"Sounds fun." He laughed.
"Pff, oh yeah." I winked at him. I leaned my back against the counter and read his expression, "What's wrong?"
