We finally made it back to campus with a few minutes to spare. We left the supplies in the trunk of my car and we headed back inside the school building.

"Thanks so much, Skye." Sarah smiled genuinely.

"No problem." I smiled back.

We went straight to Uncle—I mean—Mr. Wolfe's room and no one was there.

Except the one and only.

"Hello ladies." He greeted, "What brings you to my class earlier than usual?"

"Well, someone's in a good mood." I giggled.

He looked around us, "Where's Lolo?"

"Probably still in the cafeteria?" I answered.

"Oh, okay."

"Can we chill out here for the rest of the lunch period?" Sarah asked.

"Sure." He agreed.

The both of us picked out our seats in the room, but Sarah hooked on to my elbow, "Fabien can keep a secret right?"

"Yes, Sarah." I laughed, "Can you calm down? Everything's gonna go great." I assured her.

She let out a sigh of relief, and her shoulders hung loose to its normal position. She finally calmed down. I for one, hope that she'll calm down completely once this whole party thing is over. I love her and all but damn, she was on my shoulders the whole time we were at the party shop. She was very picky when it came to what was precise for Lolo's party.

I mean, I get Lolo's her best friend, but c'mon, it's Lolo we're talking about. The boy got excited when he got a bumper sticker on his car that read a Batman theme song lyric, and drove around for hours for the other drivers on the road to see it. Trust me, that says a lot about what impresses him.

Whatever.

Just a couple more days.

"So, what's gonna go great?" Uncle Mick asked outta the blue.

"Mr. Wolfe..." I crossed my arm, but he smirked at his tag. Obviously I can't call him Uncle Mick, "Eavesdropping is considered rude in some countries you know?"

"It's not eavesdropping when the conversation's right in front of you and the people that are conversing are speaking in a loud manner." He retaliated.

He's got a point.

"So..." He gazed at his, leaning into his podium, making it tip forward, "Who and what are you guys talking about?"

Sarah sighed, "Lolo. It's his birthday on Thursday and we're throwing him a surprise party on Saturday. He's turning eighteen."

"Aww." Mr. Wolfe cooed jokingly.

Sarah rolled her eyes and laughed.

The fifteen minutes came and went, and the bell finally rang. The door was wide open and Sarah and I saw all the students walking in the hall. In all the commotion, Lolo popped out of nowhere.

"There you guys are. Dude, what the hell? Is there a reason why you guys ditched me and Fabien?" He demanded.

"I had an assignment problem for Government." I stated.

"And there was a bit of an emergency at home, afterwards, I just ate there." Sarah shrugged.

"Right." He stretched out the word, "What was the supposed family emergency?"
