"I can't believe that once you move away, all the cool stuff starts to happen." Erin said.
We were doing our weekly Skype session.
I rolled my eyes, "Oh Erin. How I miss your weird wit."
"Aww, I miss you too!" She said sarcastically.
"But honestly though, I miss seeing you everyday." I confessed.
"Don't worry, you'll see me again." She grinned.
"Uh, what's that?"
"What's what?"
"That creepy grin."
She shrugged, "It's just a grin."
"Uh huh."
"Okay, moving on." She said quickly.
"Fine. Whatever."
"So, where are you and Greyson going?"
"I dunno." I shrugged, "He said the typical 'it's a surprise' bullcrap."
She put her hand over her chest, "That's not crap! That's cute!"
"Yeah, yeah."
"Skye, you know you're excited. Stop playing."
"I am, but I feel like you're more excited about this than I am."
"I'm just happy for you, Skye. You seemed like you were in slump for so long."
"Well, losing your parents will do that to you..."
"No, even before that. Right after you and Omega broke up." She stated. I scratched my eyebrow, and Erin must've noticed I didn't feel like talking about it, "I'm just happy for you." She repeated.
"I know." I sighed.
"What did Fabien do to him?"
"Oh geez, don't even get me started on that kid."
"He's just looking out for you."
"I know, I get that. I do. But I thought it was supposed to be the other way around?"
"Well, at least you know he loves you. The rest of our friends will probably react the same way."
"Did you tell them?" I panicked.
"No. Relax. You know I wouldn't say anything unless you want me to."
"No, I'll tell them myself. Eventually."
She laughed, "Good luck with that."
"Thanks." I pursed my lips.
She giggled.
"So, how are they anyway?" I asked.
"Oh my God! You don't know yet, do you?!" She exclaimed.
"Know what?!" I jumped.
"Manny got into UCLA!"
I gasped, "Shut up!"
"Its true!"
"Holy shit! That's huge!"
"Yeah, all of us are gonna celebrate! Well, not this weekend, but next."
"Why not this weekend?"
"Other plans."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"Well, tell Manny I said congratulations."
