"Unbelievable," I cried out. "We finally get free time and we don't know what to do!" Maddie and I were chilling out in the common room. Everyone else was in bed since it was very late, even for a Saturday.
"Just our luck, huh?" Maddie agreed. "Oh I know! We should play pranks on the boys! Let Blaise have it worst of all." Her face went dark. When I got back from prefect duties last Sunday, Maddie told me how Blaise was saying Fred would pressure her into sex. She's been mad at Blaise ever since.
"Whoa there, great idea but 1. Creepy look and 2. You've been hanging out with Fred too much if the first thing you think of is pranks."
"Oh," she replied, snapping out of the trance. "Well it will be fun! At least let's be crazy!"
"What do you think we should do to them?
She pressed her pointer finger to her chin in contemplation. "Hmmm, are they asleep yet?"
"I think so, Draco went up to bed after prefect duties, and Blaise must be too. I don't know where else he would be. So what should we do to them?" I flashed an evil smile.
"I say we try and make them sleepwalk, but first we put bubble wrap everywhere around their dorm! That way when they get up they'll be completely wrapped in it. After all that, we'll make them fall down the main staircase in the entrance hall! They'll be covered in bubble wrap, so they won't feel it! At least I hope not."
"Uh huh and how will they fall down the main staircase? We're in the dungeons, babe," I asked her, amused.
"They'll obviously sleep walk up there!"
"And how do you expect them to make it through the portrait whole without falling?" I was smirking more than Draco now.
"Magic! We're at Hogwarts darling! Hogwarts, Hogwarts, hoggy hoggy Hogwarts, teach us something pleeeeeaaaassseeeee!" She sang.
"It's hoggy warty Hogwarts, hunny," I explained.
"Whatever!"
"And sorry, but the only stairs they'll fall down are the stairs leading into the common room from their dorm."
"Nuh-uh! I can make it happen. I have special Magics!"
"So does everyone else in this castle besides Filch."
"Don't be a buzz kill! I can do it."
I sighed. "OK and where are we getting the bubble wrap hmmm?"
"I always keep some bubble wrap in my trunk! We can just use magic to make it multiply! Come on, I haven't pulled a prank since this afternoon!"
"This afternoon?" I laughed. "I haven't played one since I helped turn Draco's hair ginger."
Maddie gasped and looked at me as if I was crazy. "That is way too long! You are due, sweetie. Wait no, you are past due! You will get sick and die if you don't pull a prank this instant!" She ran upstairs and soon came back with bubble wrap and her wand. Maddie quickly grabbed my hand and yelled, "TO ADVENTURE!"
"How am I helping again?" I laughed.
"When they wake up I will run and they'll think you did it! Fool proof, now come on!"
"Oh gee thanks," I replied, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
"I'm just jesting, we'll figure something out. Can we go now?"
"Oh alright. Now be quiet." We arrived outside the door to Draco and Blaise's dorm.
"Oh, OK." She whispered. I slowly opened the door and went in before motioning for Maddie to follow. Maddie multiplied the bubble wrap and spread it out all over the floor, bed posts, and anywhere else possible in the room. Next she made it sticky so the boys would get wrapped in it. "Something Fred gave me for our anniversary," Maddie explained when she saw that I noticed the sticky stuff was from Weasley Wizard Wheezes. "How do we make them sleepwalk?"
