The day before the plan was to be put into action, Draco sat at the table, staring at his dinner but not making any effort to actually eat it. He looked paler than usual too.
"Draco," I spoke gently. "You're not eating."
He looked up at me and then back down at his food. "I'm not hungry," he mumbled.
I sighed. "Well you should try to eat something. You don't look too good right now."
He shook his head. "I can't."
I glanced up at Maddie and Blaise watching our exchange. They looked concerned too.
Setting a hand on his arm, I tried again, "Draco-"
He shook me off and stood up. "I think I'm going to be sick." I watched for a moment as he hurried out of the Great Hall before getting up myself and following him. As I entered the common room, he was just making his way up the stairs to his dorm. I finally caught up with him and locked and silenced the door behind me. Draco was pacing around the room and breathing heavily, almost hyperventilating.
"Draco, calm down!"
"How can I calm down?!" Draco yelled. "It's happening tomorrow! How am I supposed to pull this off? There's no way I'm going to be able to kill him! My life is at stake here as is my whole family's!"
"Draco, I-"
"No, Katie. Don't tell me it's going to be alright! You don't know that. There's no way it's going to be alright!"
I stepped towards him and grabbed his shoulders to force him to face me. "You're right. I don't know if it will all work out, but... it just has to! I can't lose you!"
He leaned down and pulled my face to his, kissing me fiercely. My hands moved to the buttons of his jacket. He shrugged it off and I began to unbutton his shirt as well. In a matter of minutes, we had both stripped down to our underwear. We stepped back and stared at each other.
"You're so beautiful," Draco breathed before pulling me close again and leading me to the bed.
"So we're doing this," I spoke as his kisses trailed down my neck.
"Only if you want to," Draco insisted, pausing to look me in the eyes.
"I want to," I replied. We both smiled before moving on.
*A/N: ya'll can imagine your own ending to this night XD*

I woke the next morning laying on Draco's chest. "Good morning, Love," I heard Draco say softly before kissing the top of my head.
"Good morning," I replied, rolling over and kissing him full on the lips. Before he could deepen the kiss, I pulled away. "We should probably get up."
"Can't we just stay here all day?" Draco complained.
I laughed lightly. "I wish."
I gathered my clothes from the floor and got dressed before walking back over to Draco. "I'll meet you in the common room in thirty minutes," I told him before giving him a quick kiss.
"Alright. I love you," he replied.
"I love you too."
Silently, I slipped out of his room and headed back to Maddie and I's room. When I entered, I was surprised to see Blaise sitting on my bed. "Oh, hey Blaise. You can go back to your own room now," I said. He mumbled something under his breath before walking out of the room. After he left, I grabbed new clothes from my trunk and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
