Andrews POV
I called out of work today without telling Jasmine and went to her parents house. I wanted to ask them if I could marry her. I pulled up in the drive way and saw both of her parents were home which I was happy about since I wanted to ask it and get the okay from both of them. I knocked on the door and her mom answered.
"Hi Andrew." She greeted me with a hug and kiss on the cheek.
"Hey Andrew." Her dad smiled when I walked in.
"Where's Jasmine?" Her mom asked.
"She's at home, I just wanted to talk to you both alone for a second." I said sitting down beside her dad on the couch.
"What's up?" Her dad asked. Between the last few months both of her parents have gotten closer to me and we have more of a closer relationship.
"I wanted to know if it was okay to marry Jasmine." I said. Her mom started tearing up and I couldn't tell if it was a good or bad thing until she smiled. Her dad smiled before replying.
"Andrew of course." Her dad said.
"I was waiting for when you were going to ask." Her mom said. I stood up to hug her and she was still crying.
"She's my everything and I want to spend the rest of my life with her." I said trying not to choke up myself. I cleared my throat and smiled at her mom when she pulled away.
"You have no idea how happy you make her, I haven't seen her this happy in years." She said.
"She makes me happy too." I smiled. Her dad shook my hand.
"When do you plan on asking her?" He asked.
"Sometime this week, maybe later tonight or later this week I don't really know." I said.
"Do it tonight, you don't have work and you don't have to worry about work tomorrow since it's Friday." My mom smiled.
"It'd be just you two." She added.
"Yeah I was thinking about it." I smiled.
"I'm sure we'll find out from her when you do it." She smiled and so did I.
"I'm going to get going though, I'm probably going to go out for a little because I don't want her to know I took off work." I said.
"Yeah." Her mom followed me to the door.
"Thank you for asking Andrew." Her mom smiled.
"No problem mrs Bellows." I said before hugging her and left. I already had her ring and now I just needed to past time. I grabbed my phone as I sat in the driveway.
"I can wait to come home and see you, get dressed nice tonight I want to take you out." I texted Jasmine. I started my car as I waited for a response and then heard my phone ring.
"Me neither, and okay I love you." She said.
"I love you too." I locked my phone and drove to the closest mall. As soon as I went in I knew exactly where I was going. I wanted to buy a nice outfit for tonight and went to TOPMAN. I picked out a black blazer with a white button up and black tye. I wanted tonight to be special, Just me and her. I also bought a pair of black jeans and black boots since my brown ones wouldn't match. After I bought it I changed into it in the store and walked back to my car. I checked the time and there was only and hour left of time to pass unless I told her I was able to come home early but instead I decided I would just sit in the car.
Jasmine's POV
I finished straightening my hair and put on a black bell sleeve dress with black flip flops. I didn't know why Andrew just planned on going on a date randomly but I wasn't complaining considering we haven't gone on a romantic date in months. I put on a red lipstick and did my mascara and was finally finished getting ready.
