Chapter 103

I was sleeping next to Andy while he slept in his bed. I woke up and kissed his cheek and a nurse came into the room.

"You don't have to stay here, you can go and get something to eat. You look hungry." She said and I shook my head.

"No, I'm okay." I said and she nodded as she checked everything and gave him more morphine.

"You two are cute together you know that." She said and I smiled.

"You should see him when he's with our daughter, I couldn't ask for a better husband." I said and she smiled.

"And I couldn't ask for a better wife." Andy said and he opened his eyes and winced.

"You okay?" I asked and he nodded.

"It's bright in here when you've just been sleeping." He said and I chuckled and nodded.

"When do you think we'll be able to have sex again?" He said and I looked at him and the nurse looked at me and chuckled and he smirked.

"3 to 5 weeks Mr. Lincoln." She said and he looked up at her and nodded.

"Call me Andrew, I like you." He said and I chuckled.

"I can tell the morphine is kicking in." I said and he shook his head and chuckled.

"No, I'm high." He said and I laughed. I looked up at the doorway and Skylar ran in and ran to me and my dad ran into the doorway.

"Sorry she wasn't listening to me." He said and Andy smiled and the nurse walked out.

"Daddy." Skylar said as I picked her up and Andy patted next to him for me to put her next to him. I sat her down and she hugged him and he kissed her.

"Are you okay?" She asked in more of a baby way like she wasn't sure if she said it right and Andy chuckled and nodded.

"I'm okay." He said and kissed her again.

"I missed you." He said and I smiled.

"Why am I just now finding out about this Jasmine?" My dad said and Andy and I both looked up at him.

"Are you okay?" He asked me and I nodded.

"I'm fine." I said and Andy looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"I didn't think me or her being hurt would bother you." Andy said and I looked at him.

"Well it does Andrew. I still care about my daughter and her happiness." He said.

"I would hope so." Andy said and my dad looked at me.

"Wait-did you just admit I was your daughters happiness?" Andrew said and my dad ignored him.

"This happened yesterday after you left and I found out today from Andrews parents?" My dad asked and Andy look at me and I shrugged.

"Why in the hell did you tell my parents?" He asked.

"I didn't know who to tell." I said.

"Me." My dad yelled and Skylar looked at andy.

"Stop yelling around her." Andy said looking up at my dad and he chuckled.

"Like you haven't." My dad said.

"I'm in a hospital bed with machines attached to me and cuts and bruises and stitches under my eye. You don't think she's scared enough? God dammit stop." Andy said clenching his jaw. He wasn't yelling, he was suprisingly calm and I put my hand on his.

"Is the baby okay?" He asked running his fingers through his hair and we both nodded.

"Thank god." He said.
