Fantasy Becomes Reality

Chapter 15

It was the day we were going to leave for vacation and I was so excited to just be alone with him on the beach with no work or stress.

"Baby you ready?" He asked as I finished getting ready to go to the airport.

"Yeah." I smiled. We went out to his car and he opened the door for me like always and checked his phone to see what time it is.

"We have an hour and a half to get there and check in." He said. We would obviously have enough time.

"You have no clue how excited I am for this get away." He said.

"No trust me I can't wait either." I said. We just talked for most of the ride and I played on my phone and when we got to the airport we hurried and checked in our luggage and everything and got our boarding passes. They called our section of the plane next and we both boarded the plane.

"You can get the window seat." He smiled.

"Thank you baby." I said and he smiled. We waited for everyone else to board the plane and when they finally did we took off. I hadn't flown in a few years so I was nervous but I always loved flying.

"You scared?" He asked.

"No I love flying." I said looking down out the window.

"Me too." He smiled.

We had about a three hour flight and when we landed Florida was beautiful. It was sunny and hot and we got an uber to drive us to our condo which was a thirty minute drive from the airport. After paying the driver Andrew and me jumped up out of the car to see what our condo looked like and it was beautiful. It was right along the beach and if we stepped off the back porch we could step onto the beach.

"It's beautiful." I said.

"Do you want to walk the beach?" He asked.

"Yes." I smiled. We didn't even unpack and we just threw our bags in the condo and ran on the beach. There was barely anyone except maybe two other people and it was just me and him. We walked up and down the beach holding hands and joking around with each other and we sat down in the sand to watch the sun go down since we got there a little later due to the flight. I got my phone out to text my mom and let her know we got there even though we had been there for a while.

"This is all I wanted." He said looking out at the ocean and sunset. I kissed him and rested my head on his shoulder.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said.

"Come on let's go get some dinner we don't have any food in the fridge." He laughed and helped me get up. We both brushed the sand off of us made our way back to the condo. Andrew looked up places on his phone to eat nearby and when we found a place I got an uber on my phone.

"I'm so tired." He said as we waited to be picked up.

"I know I'm exhausted." I said.

"I'm probably just going to get a rental car so we don't have to wait for this shit." Andrew laughed. He wasn't the most patient person.

"I'll pay for that." I said.

"No you won't." He smiled and it wasn't even worth arguing with him because he would win. The über car pulled up and we both got in Andrew letting me in first. We told the driver where we wanted to go and Andrew put his hand on my thigh going up farther. I glared over at him and place his hand on my knee.

"Don't you dare." I whispered to him and he smirked at me and started laughing. We pulled up to the restaurant and went inside and a waitress found us a seat. Andrew held my hand from across the table and looked through the menu and so did I.
