I woke up and felt like shit as soon as I did. Everything was okay while I was sleeping but as soon as I woke up he was on my mind again.
I changed Skylars diaper and packed a bag to go over my dads, I couldn't tell my dad he cheated on me, at least not yet. I could barely process that he cheated on me but I just packed a few clothes to make it look like I was only spending a few nights and packed Skylar some clothes with diapers.
It was later in the afternoon and Andrew had texted me multiple times I just didn't even bother to check them. I grabbed my phone charger and phone and held Skylar in my arms as I went out to my car. I buckled her in her car seat and as soon as I got in the drivers seat I started crying again. I gave up everything for him just for him to give up on us, when I thought everything was perfect. I looked over at my phone and Andrew texted me and I couldn't help but finally check his messages.
"I'm going insane, please talk to me, I need you, don't leave me." He said and I closed my eyes and locked my phone again. I got myself together and started driving to my dads and my entire mind was all over the place.
It wasn't long until I pulled up in the driveway and thank god he was home. I held Skylar and I went inside and he looked at me and smiled.
"I was wondering when I'd see you." He chuckled and I smiled.
"Miss Andrew?" He asked and my smile faded. I nodded and he smiled.
"How's sky?" He asked coming over to me and taking her in his arms.
"She's fine." I smiled.
"You okay? You look like you haven't slept in weeks." He said and I sighed.
"Just tired, Skylars been waking up during the night a lot." I lied and he nodded and rocked her in his arms. I wanted to talk to my mom and tell her what happened but I couldn't and it hurt even more.
"Is it okay if I stay here until Andrew comes back?" I asked and he nodded. My phone started ringing and me and my dad both looked down to see it was Andrew and I looked back up at my dad and smiled weakly before answering it. If I didn't answer it my dad would know.
"Jasmine?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said walking upstairs to my old room. As soon as I laid down on the bed the tears started again.
"I'm home." He said.
"Great so now you're going to lose your job and wife." I fake laughed and he sighed.
"The trip is over, the school cut it short and had the last meeting today, so maybe I'll just lose my wife." He said.
"I don't care." I said and he laughed.
"What happened to marrying me being a mistake? Why are you even talking to me right now Andrew?" I asked.
"I didn't mean that, and you know I didn't." He said raising his voice a bit.
"Then what the hell did you mean by it?" I asked.
"I'm not talking about this right now." I said.
"When would you like to talk about it then? You obviously don't want to see me so you just let me know when your schedule isn't too busy. I don't want to overwhelm you." He said through his clenched teeth and I closed my eyes and clenched my jaw to stop myself from saying anything.
"Andy?" I asked and there was a sigh of relief on the other end.
"What?" He barely whispered.
"Our wedding was perfect, our honeymoon was perfect, and we came home and it's like you're a whole different person going through a mid life crisis, I thought everything was okay. Why did you do this?" I asked.
