It had been days since he texted or called me and it was literally driving me insane. I kept checking my phone every ten minutes at least and nothing was happening and what hurt those most was I knew I didn't let him explain himself and I didn't really know what happened but I was hurt. My mom didn't directly tell my dad anything since I didn't really want her to but I knew he knew something happened between us, it was just obvious.
"Has he texted you?" My mom asked as she stood in the kitchen cleaning the dishes and I sat on the couch.
"No." I mumbled.
"Mom what if he's waiting for me to talk to him?" I asked.
"Then let him wait, he'll figure it out." She said. I sighed and just went back upstairs. I wasn't okay and there was nothing more that I wanted then to just have his arms wrapped around me. I laid in bed and just waited for something. I checked my phone and there was nothing but his name came up on my screen just as I checked it.
"Is Skylar okay?" He asked. I smiled weakly I just needed to know he still cared. I needed to just hear from him.
"She's fine." I replied and went back downstairs.
"Did he text you?" My mom asked again.
"Yeah." I said.
"What did he say?" She asked.
"He just asked if Skylar was okay." I said and i smiled weakly and she smiled.
"He'll talk to you, just give him time." She said. I knodded my head and got a text from Mel, she knew about everything that was happening.
"Get your mind off things and come over we can have our own party." She said. I smiled, I wanted to go. I hadn't been out of the house in days and I needed to go out.
"If I went to Mel's tonight would you be okay with Skylar?" I asked.
"Don't worry about Skylar, you need to get out and get your mind off things." She said. I smiled and went back upstairs to get ready. I just got a shower and threw on a pair of leggings and white crop top with vans and drove over to her house. As soon as I opened her door she hugged me.
"Did he text you?" She asked.
"Just to ask how Skylar was." I said.
"Good." She said. I knodded my head and she quickly changed the subject.
"Do you want to get drunk or high?" She asked.
"What?" I asked.
"Do you want to get drunk or high?" She repeated.
"If Andy found out he'd kill me." I said.
"Jasmine." She said.
"You need to calm down." She said putting her hands on my shoulders.
"Both." I chuckled. I was probably going to regret it but I really didn't care. Me and Mel passed a bottle of vodka back and forth and literally just joked around the whole time. It wasn't a party and I knew she was doing it to get my head off things but I didn't even care if my mom found out I just wanted to be happy. She got a bowl and packed the weed in it and passed it to me first. I hadn't smoked in months and i knew I'd regret it as soon as I did it. I passed it back to her and ontop of feeling horny from being drunk I was happy from the weed and it was the best I've felt other than when I was with Andy and my mind kept going back to him. We passed the bowl until it was almost finished and I looked at Mel and her eyes were bloodshot as hell and I couldn't imagine what I looked like.
"I want Andy." I said.
"I know." She said.
"I didn't mean I wanted Andy I meant like I knew you wanted him." She chuckled.
