Chapter 54

SMUT

I woke to Andy putting Sky in her crib dressed in his suit for work. I sat up in bed and he smiled at me.

"Morning baby." He said and I got up and hugged him. He stumbled back a bit considering he was cut off guard and chuckled.

"What was that for?" He asked looking down at me and I smiled up sleepily at him and kissed him softly.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said.

"I just don't want to go to work." He sighed.

"I don't want you to go either, but you get to come home to me and Skylar." I said and he smiled and kissed me. I rested my head on his chest and the smell of his cologne was comforting as he held me and rested his chin on the top of my head.

"I'm going to be late baby." He chuckled and so did I as we pulled away from eachother.

"I'll see you later okay? Go back to sleep." He said before kissing me and smiling.

"Bye baby." I smiled.

"Bye love." He said before going downstairs and when I heard him leave I checked on Skylar and went back to bed.

"Hey sleepy head." I was woken to Andy hovering over me from the side of the bed.

"What time is it?" I asked sleepily.

"Two." He chuckled and I sat up in bed.

"I didn't even realize, I was exhausted from everything." I said and he smiled.

"It's okay baby." He said sitting next to me and taking my hand.

"But I need to talk to you." He sighed.

"What's wrong?" I asked facing him more.

"I have to stay like three hours from here for four days for something the school is doing, but I don't think Skylar or you could go because it's business." He said.

"Andy that's fine, you have to work." I said and he sighed.

"I know that, I just don't want to leave you or Skylar alone, we just got home too." He said.

"Don't worry about us it will be okay." I said and he smiled weakly.

"When do you leave?" I asked.

"Tomorrow morning." He said.

"What's it for?" I asked.

"It's like a lot of the states schools come together and it's like a big meeting with the state, it's bullshit." He chuckled and so did I. He looked at me and cupped my cheek and brushed his thumb across it before leaning over and kissing me.  He moved closer to me on the bed and was practically on top of me. Skylar started crying and he pulled away from me and chuckled.

"This is the first time she's cried all day, she's getting better with it." I said.

"I know." He said getting up and picking her up from her crib.

"Shh it's okay baby." He whispered rocking her and kissed her forehead. I saw up on the bed and smiled at them both, he was so good with her and it made me so happy. She wouldn't stop crying even though he was rocking her.

"I'll go downstairs a feed her." I said getting up and he placed her in my arms and kissed me softly before pulling away.

He still followed me downstairs and I warmed up a bottle of milk and when I started feeding her she calmed down.
