Chapter 10

A/N: Hey guys! So I won't be able to update this whole week because of school. The only time I'll be able to use my phone is on the weekends so I'll try updating when I have the chance to. Sorry for the bad news!

"EH?!? A t-talking pig?!"

You stood there, shocked, your (E/C) pupils widening at the sight. Not only was this pig talking, but it was absolutely adorable with its rosy cheeks. On his left M-shaped ear was an ear ring with the words Star Boar on it. His body was well rounded and his legs were fairly short.

"Meliodas! You're back! So, this was the girl you were talking about," the pig greeted while looking at you up and down with its beady black eyes.

"Yup! (Y/N) meet Hawk, Hawk meet (Y/N)," Meliodas introduced yourselves to each other.

"H-Hi! Nice to meet you!" you slightly stuttered, smiling.

"Nice to meet you too! Captain of the Food Disposal at your service! Come in!" (I forgot what Hawk addresses himself as LOL)

You and Meliodas stepped inside the Boar Hat. The scent of beer immediately snuck up your nose, causing you to cough a bit. There were hand-made wooden tables and stools around the place and a bar counter. Behind it was a shelf filled with Ale. On the walls were lamps shaped similar to Hawk. A room led upstairs and another was for storage. Meliodas sighed and sat down on one of the stools, you doing the same.

Hawk closed the door and started to prepare a cup of Ale. "Do you want a cup (Y/N)?" he offered to you.

"N-no thank you," you replied.

Hawk served Meliodas and sat down. "Oi, you didn't be a pervert to (Y/N) did you?" he whispered to him with a deep glare. You blushed and tucked a strand of hair being your ear, remembering what he did back at your house.

"U-um...he did do s-something..." you muttered while covering your breasts.

Hawk looked at Meliodas who was chugging down the beer.

"YOU PERVERT, FIRST ELIZABETH THEN HER! KEEP YOUR CLUMSY HANDS TO YOURSELF!!" Hawk yelled. Meliodas put down the cup and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Let's not talk about it," he said, yawning. "It's time to go to bed!"

"Tch," Hawk grunted. "Follow me (Y/N), I'll show you to your room."

You followed Hawk up the creaking stairs and towards the end of the hallway until you came to the door of a bedroom.

"Here it is. Meliodas is at the other end of the hallway if you need him. The bathroom is in the middle. I'll be downstairs."

You nodded and thanked Hawk before entering the room.

It had a small bed with white covers and a brown nightstand right beside it. The walls were a simple, brownish-tan and the floor was a polished wood. The bright moonlight shown through a big window.

You sighed and took out your pocket knife, placing it on the nightstand.

You went straight to the bathroom to wash your face, the warm water feeling refreshing against your face. When you returned you took out your messy bun and let your hair flow free. You plopped down on the bed and tightly wrapped yourself in the covers to block out the cold.

Waiting for sleep to take over, your eyes got heavier and heavier by the minute till everything was pitch black.

You opened your eyes and lazily rubbed them.

Where am I?

Examining your surroundings, you appeared to be back at your house. You were on the couch and it was still dark outside.

What am I doing here? Wasn't I in the Boar Hat?

You walked on the cold hard floor with confusion filming your mind. The floor creaked as your petite feet tiptoed throughout the house. You went upstairs to investigate even further.

Walking deeper into the hallway, you heard voices in your parents bedroom.

Dad and mom are back already?

You put your ear against the door to listen to the voices. A few murmurs were heard until they disappeared.

That's weird...

You twisted the gold door knob and opened the door.

You gasped. Your parents were on their stomachs, dead with blood staining the floor. Their essence splattered the walls and coated them in a deadly red.

The ghost of your sister hovered above them.

"You were too late. This is all your fault sissy," she whispered.

You shivered and cried as the ghost transformed into a cloaked figure. Lily's murderer. Now your parents.

NOOO!!!"

You sat up and breathed heavily. Sweat dropped from your forehead.

"No..." you repeated. You were back in your bedroom at Boar Hat, the moon still up in the night sky. You heard running footsteps as the door opened and a worried Meliodas ran to your side.

"(Y/N)!! Are you okay?" he asked, holding your hand. He was in a white long-sleeved shirt and black pajama pants.

"I-I'm fine....I-It was just a nightmare.." you whispered in a shaky voice.

Meliodas's POV

I held (Y/N)'a hand tightly.

"Are you okay?" I asked, full of worry.

"I-I'm fine...I-It was just a nightmare..." she whispered. Her voice was so shaky. She was scared. Afraid.

"It's okay now, you're safe," I said, trying my best to soothe her.

I embraced (Y/N) in my arms. Her face was buried in my chest. I could feel her fast breathing which made me more concerned.

"Calm down...I'm right here.." I reassured. I wrapped my arms around her head and waist.

"I'll protect you."
