The first thing you were greeted by when you awoke from your slumber was the violent ringing buzzing in your ears. You shook your head to try to stop it, but it's brutal sound continued. You grunted and rubbed the side of your head on your shoulder.
You blinked and noticed that your vision was very blurry. You squinted and felt lightheaded. Everything was unclear and the massive headache wouldn't subside.
Slowly, you began to regain strength at your lower body. You curled your toes and tried to roll your ankles. Unfortunately, you couldn't move them. You attempted to relieve your sore ankles again, but it seemed that they were tied.
Strength then made its way to your upper body. You wiggled your body around and felt something wrapped around you. You began to feel frustrated. You tried to bend your fingers and roll your wrists, but it was no use.
You groaned and tried to focus your vision. Gradually your surroundings no longer were silhouettes. It was still blurry, but you were able to examine the situation you were in.
Your wrists, ankles, and body were tied with a rope to the chair you were sitting in. The rope wasn't made out if it's normal material. Strange enough, it was tough and seemed to be consisted of tight purple thread.
You examined your surroundings. Surprisingly, you weren't in a dark room. Instead, you found yourself in a normal cellar with a bright bulb hanging from the ceiling. A table and chair was in front of you.
You turned your head and noticed that the room was similar to the place where fugitives were taken for interrogation. The walls were rocky and the floor was dusty. The cellar door had a little slit for communication and food.
After investigating your prison, panic immediately swarmed you. You started to breathe heavily, wiggling around in the ropes.
"Hello?!" you yelled, hoping someone would hear you. "Hello!?"
"You sure are loud."
You jumped and froze. In front of you was a man with thick, silver armor and pink luscious hair. His electric blue eyes stared at you, making you squirm in place.
"You...you're the one who causes these dreams?..." you asked, almost in a whisper.
The stiff man nodded. "That's me."
Your brows furrowed. He was the one causing you all the pain and fear in your sleep.
He shifted and crossed his arms. His visage became clearer as your vision went back to normal.
Why does he look so familiar?...
"What do you want from me?" you yelled, impatient and angry.
"At least let me introduce myself," he chuckled. "I'm Gilthunder, holy knight of Liones."
"Of Liones? Why would a holy knight like you torture me? Aren't you supposed to protect and serve the kingdom in a positive way?" you snapped.
Gilthunder...Gilthunder...
"I'm just here to give you a heads up on our next encounter. No argument needed."
You twitched. "Next encounter?"
The holy knight smirked. "You see, your power is almost at its extent. We need you. The Seven Deadly Sins won't be able to protect you much longer."
Your nose scrunched up in anger. You didn't respond to allow him to continue.
"(Y/N), why stay with those pathetic sins with a power that enormous?"
"Leave me alone!" you bellowed. "I'm not to be used as a weapon. I think.. I think I understand where you're going with this.."
Gilthunder simply smirked. "No, I'm afraid you don't. "
There was a mere moment of silence, a pause to let you process.
"One last thing," he continued,"If you warn the sins about the holy knights' mission to capture you, you won't ever see them again."
You growled. "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do with them? It's not like you can lay even a finger on them!"
Gilthunder's cold eyes emitted such bloodlust that you were immediately stunned silent.
"Do you really want to test that theory? I'll kill all of them right in front of you."
Your eyes started to fill up with moisture. Because of you, the sins' lives were at stake.
"No..no," you murmured, "Stop! You wouldn't! You can't!"
Gilthunder...
With no response, Gilthunder stood up. He reached for the light bulb and before pulling it, he looked at you.
"Wait...Gilthunder!!" you cried, wanting to ask him more questions.
With no hesitance, he pulled the chain. Everything went black.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)?"
You groaned.
"Wake up!"
You heard a voice calling to you as you started to gain consciousness. You attempted to open your eyes, but you only caught a glimpse of blonde hair before closing them shut again.
Your eyes were very heavy and your body felt weak. You tried to open your eyes once more, and this time they stayed open.
A worried face peered down at you, his emerald eyes full of concern.
"M-Meliodas..." you said.
"(Y/N)..you're alright.." Meliodas heaved a huge sigh, brushing a hand through his hair.
You turned your head to face the window and looked out into the dark milieu. A wave of shock rushed through your body as you noticed the time of day.
"Meliodas, how long have I been out?" you asked, using your elbows to prop yourself up.
Meliodas placed his hand on your shoulder and gently pushed you back down. "You need to rest more. And the whole day. It's kinda late." A sweat drop occurred on his head.
Your eyes widened. "I'm so sorry I worried you! The others must've been panicking!"
He nodded. "We all were. They're downstairs eating."
You bit your lip and looked at him.
Did he stay by my side the whole time??
You reached for Meliodas's hand. "T-thank you for staying here.."
Meliodas smiled and pulled you in for a hug. "Anything to keep you company."
