"Boys, this is Elizabeth." Paul smiles as he gestures to me, before closing the door behind me.

They all answer with Hi's and Hallo's, but all I manage to do is to stand there and stare at them. They're real: Well, I knew they were real, but they're standing in front of me. The five boys I once saw on the TV every Saturday night, and now they're right in front of me in real life.

It is them. You could've put them all in a crowd of look-a-likes and I would find the real boys from One Direction. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those die hard Directioners. Not even close, actually. You see, they were my favourites at the X-Factor two years ago, back in 2010 when I was 16 years old.

But I didn't really follow them after they left X-Factor. I would frequently search them up on the internet and listen to their music, but I had a lot of other things I had to focus on; my music and the school.

"Can she speak?" Louis asks as he's suddenly practically in my face, which makes me quickly take some steps back and walk into the closed door behind me. How did he even come there so fast? Most teenage girls in my position would probably start fangirling now, but I'm just not the fangirling type. Like, my heart is probably beating faster than ever before, but that's normal?

"Elizabeth?" An Irish accent asks and wakes me from the trance. I turn my head towards him, Niall.

"Ella..." I say before shaking my head trying to get the trance completely away. "Um, just call me Ella." I smile at him, then at the others. "I'm sorry, I guess I... zoned out or something."

"And then you thought I was a ghost." Louis adds and chuckles. "It was kind of funny."

"I...uh..." I try to reply, but to no avail causing a weird smile to form in my face.

"Okay Louis, don't freak her out more than you already have, we want to keep her." Liam tells Louis making me burst out laughing, which make them look at me with questioning looks. Did I mention that when things get awkward or I get really nervous I'm most likely going to laugh? Well, that's how I am.

"You have to do more than that to get rid of me." I explain after deciding to stop laughing due to some more awkwardness.

"I think I could do it." Louis says with a smirk.

"But would you want to do it?" I ask him and tilt my head slightly raising an eyebrow.

"Well..." Louis starts but gets interrupted by Niall.

"He would never do it, unless he dislikes you. And I think you're impossible to dislike, because you're cute... Oh my god, I was not going to say that. Not that you aren't! I mean, no..." Niall rambles on before suddenly starting to walk towards the door. "I have to go to the toilet and... um, I'll be right back."

We all watch as Niall walks out the door and disappear from our view. I turn to the other boys who are giving each other questioning looks.

"He's not usually like that." Zayn tells me, interrupting the silence that has fallen upon us.

"Oh, it's okay. He probably didn't think clear. You know, because he had to go to the toilet." I say with a shrug and suddenly Harry starts to laugh. "Yeah, that's probably it."

"Well, boys and Elizabeth." Paul interrupts our little conversation about Niall. "Maybe we should introduce Elizabeth to the house." He suggests as I hear the door open and close. I assume it's just Niall coming in again, and my assumption is confirmed when he comes into sight. "And then you can all take the rest of the day off, maybe show Elizabeth some of the city?"

"Sound like something we can manage." Liam answers and smiles before he turns to me."Where do you have your luggage?"

"My luggage is in Paul's car." I answer and smile at him before I look to Paul for confirmation.
