I sat watching Niall as he read the article, but he didn’t show any kind of reaction, at all. Maybe he didn’t care? Maybe he didn’t know how to react? Or maybe he didn’t know what he thought about it?

“What exactly is this article?” I don’t know who Louis asked, because my gaze never left Niall. For some reason I wanted a reaction from him, just the tiniest reaction would be fine, but he didn’t even budge.

“It’s just an article about Ella and Niall.” I heard Harry answer and I removed my gaze from Niall to Louis who was now chuckling.

“An article about them named Horan’s princess? Oh my, I need to see this!” He exclaimed followed by laughter. I looked at them confused; why were they laughing? Did they think this was funny?

The sound of Niall’s chuckle drew my attention towards him again. He gave Harry his phone back and then turned his gaze towards me. “What?” He asked; his expression suddenly grew serious at the sight of my face and my serious expression.

“I don’t get what’s funny.” I answered; confused as to why he and the other boys were laughing.

“Oh, come on, it’s funny.” A smile formed on Niall’s face again as the other boys agreed with him.

“And besides, Niall loved the article.” Louis stated with a smug smile on his face.

“I didn’t, I did not.” Niall answered quickly as he turned towards Louis and sent him a glare.

“Oh, whoa okay.” Louis threw his hands up in defence.

“You know it’s okay Niall, Ella loved it too.” Harry said, backing up Louis who was still getting a glare from Niall.

It took me a second too long to fully understand what Harry had just said. “She isn’t even denying it.” Zayn said as he laughed and everyone turned their gazes towards me.

“What, no. No, did I look like I enjoyed it? I did not, no.” I said quickly and ended with shaking my head.

“Don’t worry Ella; they do this with all the girls I’m seen with.” Niall reassured me, but Louis wouldn’t let me relax and added.

“They usually don’t have that convincing pictures though.” He looked up from the article on Harry’s phone.

“They’ll forget about it.” Niall said, once again trying to reassure me.

I suddenly came to realization that I wasn’t the one they should be teasing about a crush which I didn’t have. “Wait, stop. Zayn’s the one here who’s got an actual crush.”

“Whoa that’s mean, don’t throw this over at me, at least I can keep my crush to myself.” Zayn replied with a small, nervous laugh.

“It’s not a crush!” I exclaim as I send him a glare. “They think we’re a thing, but they don’t know anything.”

“And there’s the media for you.” Liam said and gave me a reassuring smile, trying to tell me that people would forget about it. “They just want something to write. And they…” He said pointing to Harry, Louis and Zayn before he continued. “… are just enjoying to tease you about it.” I heard the door open and turned towards it.

It was Paul; he had finished his work and told us that the management had given us permission to leave for the day. No one mentioned anything more about Horan’s Princess, and I guess they were only teasing me about it because they knew I didn’t like it.

I didn’t like the fact that the whole world got to know that I was dating Niall, a fact that wasn’t even true. If it was true, it wouldn’t have been this bad I guess, and I don’t get how he didn’t react different, but I guess it’s something you get used to when you’re a world famous superstar, which I’m not.
