I had gotten home from the city a couple of hours ago. Meredith and Josh had decided to join us for the rest of the time we spent in there, and it was actually pretty nice. I guess you could say Josh was the only friend I had gotten here in London without any help from the boys, and it was nice to know that I could make friends on my own as well.
Niall and I were currently sitting on his bed watching an episode of the series 90210. I guess it was more of a girl's series, but he told me he was okay with whatever I wanted to watch. It was one of my favourite TV-series, and I had seen all of the episodes before, but it was always fun watching them over again.
I think most of the other boys had already gone to bed, it was over 1 am, and we had work tomorrow as well. I hadn't been in my bedroom yet, because right after I had brushed my teeth Niall insisted that I should join him in his bedroom. I didn't have anything against that of course, I was more than happy to spend time with him. He even lent me a t-shirt so I didn't have to go and get my pyjamas from my room.
We were sat on the middle of the bed with our backs against some pillows that separated us from the headboard. Niall's duvet covered the lower half of our bodies, and our legs were touching underneath it. Niall's laptop was sat on our lap over the duvet so we both had a clear view of it.
I hadn't really been paying much attention to the episode though, after the first quarter of the episode my eyes had focused on his face. I watched him as his face fixated on the screen and how his eyebrows would narrow whenever something that happened got him confused. I smiled before his voice brought me back from my daze.
"What? He can't just leave her!" He exclaimed and threw a glance at me before turning his face to me when he noticed my staring. "What?" He asked, his brows once again narrowed in confusion.
"You're cute." I answered, and his confusion turned into a smile. He leant his head towards mine and pecked my lips lightly.
"You're cute." He told me and I couldn't help the smile growing on my face as I diverted my gaze from his and it landed on the laptop screen where the credits were rolling. "Especially when you do that." Niall said and pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear causing me to return my gaze to his. "Do you want to watch one more episode?"
I was just about to answer him that I wanted to see one more episode when the conversation from the café came to my mind. "I want to, but... I think we need to talk."
"About us?" Niall asked me, a concerned look on his face as he removed the laptop from our laps and then turned towards me, giving me all his attention. He didn't even need to think, he knew exactly what I wanted to talk to him about.
"Yes, I don't think we can hide this for much longer..." I started and his facial expression softened at my words. "...whatever this is." I said and gestured to the both of us with my hand.
"I talked to your dad." Niall told me as he took my hand in his and I tilted my head slightly, confused. What would my dad have to do with this? Had Niall told him about us, or what had he said? I remembered hearing them by the toilet, the part of their conversation, but it hadn't really made any sense to me. I had forgotten to ask Niall thinking it wasn't anything important, but could it be? "He said he was fine with it, that I got his permission to date you."
"What?" I asked him, even more confused now. "Did he just say it like that?" My father wouldn't have just said it like that, would he? No, he didn't even know about Niall and me, we hadn't told him.
"No, um, he asked me if we were together. I didn't want to lie to him, because... eh, I don't think he would like it if I did and he later discovered that I had lied to him." Niall explained and let out a small chuckle. "So I told him I wanted to date you, and he said that I shouldn't expect him to like me, but that I had his permission."
