Chapter 4

This boy seemed to look a little older than me and Cole, but not by much. And if I thought Cole looked good looking then this guy was absolutely gorgeous.

He had thick dark black hair that stuck up in all the right directions, making it look sexy. His eyes were a bright blue and were rimmed in dark lashes on his tan face. He was very muscular like Cole too, maybe even more.

He was wearing a tight black shirt that seemed to make his muscles more noticeable and he looked almost....scary. But yet still very handsome at the same time. Seriously, where were all these guys coming from?

I locked eyes with him and a strange sensation came over me making me shudder.

He seemed to be in a trance too, still looking into my eyes also.

I was beginning to think that we would be doing this forever -which I really wouldn't mind- until I heard a cough that came from Cole. Cole seemed to be trying not to smirk at us.

The guy in front of me cleared his throat and broke our little stare to glare at Cole.

As soon as he did I felt like I wanted to do it again, and as soon as possible.

I internally leaped with joy when the guy came to sit on my side a crossed from Cole.

He seemed to be giving Cole a hard glare while he moved closer to me.

We were now touching and I was surprised when little shocks went through my arm and leg when we made contact.

It was another sensation that made a shiver run through my body in pleasure. It made me want to move even closer to him for some odd reason.

And yet another blush crept onto my face.

"I see you've met someone" his deep voice was very attractive as he talked to Cole. Don't ask me why, but it was.

"Er, uh yeah, this is Hayden" he said cautiously to the guy beside me. I gave Cole a questioning look.

I wanted to know why Cole was acting so weird all of a sudden. I enjoyed what little bonding we had just done even though it wasnt really anything, but I still didn't know why these guys were so interested. But now, Cole seemed unsure of his every move.

The guy turned to me and gave me a half smile which caused butterflies to form in my stomach.

"Hayden." He repeated still smiling. "I'm Carter. Pleased to meet you."

"Hey" I said, my voice once again soft and shy.

"You guys friends?" I pointed in between the two sitting by me.

"I guess you could say that" Carter shrugged after Cole didn't respond.

Cole smirked at him and I knew that the old Cole was now back.

"So I hear your not from around here?" Carter asked me while searching my face for something I didn't know.

"I live in Michigan. I'm just here with my parents to spend the fourth here." I didn't know why I was giving all this information away, but it seemed like I could trust these guys, for some stupid reason.

"You live in Michigan?" He said in a strained tone which made me confused.

"Yeah....why, is there something wrong with Michigan?"

I was becoming defensive over my home state, even if I hated the cold winters.

Carter didn't reply and instead looked a crossed the table to Cole who had his eyebrows raised.
