School was a bit better than usual today. Mostly because I got to hang out with Emilia most of the time.
She came up to me after my first lesson, asking if I wanted to go go-karting again today.
"No thanks, Emilia", I answered.
"Oh, why not? You seemed to be having fun", she replied, sounding a bit disappointed.
"It was nice, but I'd rather stay in my speed for now", I explained. "And I'm gonna go take some photos in Kamppi after school anyway", I added and help up my Leica Q camera.
"Oh, can I come with you?" Emilia asked excitedly.
"Sure", I agreed and went to grab the books I needed for my next lesson from my locker.
"I could be kinda like a model in the photos", Emilia suggested.
"Yeah, if you want to", I said. Emilia smiled and giggled and turned around to go get her books from her locker.
"Where are you gonna take the photos?" She asked as she joined me walking to physics class.
"I don't really know", I replied. "Wherever looks nice".
"Yay! It can be an adventure", Emilia said and I smiled at her as she skipped to class and I walked behind her.
So we spent all of our classes and breaks sitting together and talking. We got caught quite a lot but that's fine. It's nice talking to her.
"What's our last class today?" She asked on our third recess.
"I think we have gym. We're gonna learn how to dance the waltz and some shit like that", I answered.
"Ohhhh, I love dancing!" Emilia replied.
"It's nice with someone cool", I agreed.
"Will you be my dance partner?" Emilia asked.
"Sure", I agreed. "I wouldn't really wanna dance with anyone else".
"Yay! Wanna practice?" Emilia asked and took my hand.
"Um-", I managed to let out, but couldn't say anything else before she grabbed me and started dancing. I was probably supposed to lead her, but she decided to take that role, so I just went on with it. I don't think you could've called it dancing as much as it was Emilia making all the right steps and turns and me awkwardly stumbling along. I actually tripped fell down really soon.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Emilia asked, laughing.
"I'm fine", I groaned and got off the ground. "Next time, give me a warning or something, OK?"
"Sure", she replied through fits of laughter. I started laughing along too, as I decided the fall was more funny than hurtful.
Gym class came around, and I let myself be lead again as Emilia danced gracefully and I stumbled along. At least this time I didn't fall down, and I actually got a chance to lead her after a while. I may have stepped on her foot a bit.
Anyway, school was over for the weekend, so I decided to go out to take photos of Emilia in the city.
"Wait, I wanna go home to do something before we go take photos", Emilia said as we left the school.
"Okay, what is it?" I asked.
"Well, I want to leave my backpack there and then change my outfit", Emilia explained.
"Can I leave my backpack there too?" I asked.
"Sure. You can stay over for a while if you like", Emilia said, and we walked to the bus stop and took the bus to her house.
