My heart was pounding in my ears.

Charlie: you got the address yeah?

Me: Yeah

Charlie: good

Me: I should see you literally any minute now

I was walking along the streets of Kontula, going towards the address Charlie had sent me.

I came to the front door of an apartment building. This was it. I looked around. No Charlie.

I almost felt heartbroken, until I heard the door behind me open, and a familiar voice spoke.

"Daniel?" It said, and I turned around and found myself hugging Charlie incredibly tight, and him hugging me back and laughing. I think we may have spun around a bit, too.

"Holy fucking shit!" I exclaimed as I pulled myself away to see Charlie's face. I think we were both crying tears of joy.

"I think you've got a little-", I started, and wiped a tear off of Charlie's cheek. He smiled and buried his face into me, and I held him tight again. He was a little bit shorter than me. "Perfect cuddling height", I thought.

"I'm so happy, you have no idea", Charlie squeaked as he pulled away to look at me. "Like I could literally kiss you!"

"Shit, do you wanna?" I asked.

"Fuck yes", Charlie replied.

And then I kissed him. Without even thinking, just mashing my lips into his. And he kissed back.

And we stayed there for quite a while, too.

Once we broke apart, we were both red like tomatoes. Charlie laughed out loud, and so did I. We looked like a fucking mess.

"You're an incredibly good kisser", Charlie breathed.

"I am?" I replied, and smiled widely. "Aww, thanks!"

"Wait, are we friends or something else?" Charlie asked.

"We can be friends if you wanna", I said. Charlie smiled. Then he hugged me again.

"Platonic babes", he said.

"You fucking goof, I love you", I replied. Charlie giggled into my chest.

We spent the rest of the day excitedly talking about literally anything that popped up into our minds. I think my heart rate may have risen twice above the level it's supposed to be, but it was alright. I was happy.
