I was up all night texting Emilia about Charlie.

Me: I don't wanna lose him
Me: I wanna be a better friend for him
Me: I'm so scared for him
Me: I wish I could've stopped it

Emilia: Don't blame yourself
Emilia: It's not your fault

Me: I know
Me: But still ;-;

Emilia: Daniel, I promise, it's going to be okay
Emilia: He's in the hospital. He's being taken care of. He'll live

Me: You think so?

Emilia: I do

Me: I hope so ;-;

Emilia: I know
Emilia: *cuddles*

Me: I need all the cuddles rn

Emilia: Like IRL cuddles?

Me: That would be fabulous
Me: But like
Me: It's literally 1:06AM
Me: And nobody wants to see me at this time

Emilia: Meet me outside your door in, like
Emilia: Half an hour?
Emilia: It's cold so wear a jacket

Me: But I can't
Me: I'll wake up the mother ;-;
Me: And if I'm not home before she wakes up she's going to freak out
Me: She'll think I'm kidnapped or something

Emilia: Just be quiet when you sneak out
Emilia: And you can leave a note so she knows you're safe

Me: But what if I get in trouble for sneaking out?
Me: I HAVE GIVEN HER THE EVIDENCE THEN

Emilia: I don't think your mum is the type of person to get mad over that
Emilia: She'll just hug you for a very long time
Emilia: And so will I
Emilia: So it's a double-win

Me: I guess....

Emilia: Yeah
Emilia: Come on. We can take the metro and go to Uutela and look at the stars and listen to emo bands

Me: Green Day and Twentyone Pilots?

Emilia: And My Chemical Romance

Me: GEE, that sounds fun ;)

Emilia: No

Me: Lmao XD
Me: Okay, I'll meet you

Emilia: Yay
Emilia: Half an hour. Outside your door

Me: Ok :)

So, I quietly opened my door and walked out. I didn't need to undress anything, because I was wearing my everyday clothes. After I wrote a letter to my mum that I had gone out and put it on the kitchen table, I put on my jacket and shoes, careful not to make a noise, and very, very slowly, opened the front door. It unlocked loudly and creaked open and shut with an ever so gentle thud. I waited and listened for a while to see if my mum had woken up. I heard nothing, and I knew I was in the clear. I sprinted down the stairs to my front door and waited inside. Half an hour later, Emilia walked into my view and I opened the door.
