Please keep in mind that book 3 is coming to an end. Book 4 will be started when I get time. 2 more chapters of book 3 at least. Maybe a few more. Don't know yet.

A full 2 years of seeing Preston went by fast, I was sitting on the counter in the bathroom waiting for the pregnancy test results while he was at work.

"You do know that she's been seen around town with a few guys right?" my friend Jeff said.
"Hugging, holding hands. and sitting with them at restaurants." Craig said.
"Just because she's more loyal than your wives doesn't mean you have to trash my girl." I said.
"We're just sayin'. You know the signs of a cheater. Just watch."
I got home and saw Mindy sitting at the table with the boys, she was texting. "Hey." she said giving me a hug.
"Hi." I said. "How was school you two?"
"Fine." Hunter said.
"Fine, I learned half the alphabet today." Trent Jr. said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yep." he said.
"How are you?" I asked Mindy.
"I'm fine. Just talking to mom. She's bored at the hotel while dad's in a meeting."
"Then why go with?" I asked.
"Because she wanted to. They have their anniversary this weekend." she said. "What's wrong with you?"
"They already had their anniversary didn't they?"
"They had their wedding anniversary." she said. Defensive much? She put her phone in her pocket and grabbed some laundry.
That night, Mindy was in taking a shower. I grabbed her phone off the bedside table and swiped to unlock. "I'll see you tomorrow then." some Lucas said.
Another message: "How are you going to avoid him finding out?
"Relax, I have it all worked out. Luke is going to wait for me to get there."
"He's not picking you up?"
"No, why would I have him do that?"
"Just wondering."
Something hit me. Mindy was hit me with a book. "What was that for?" I asked.
"I don't go through your phone."
"Who's Lucas?"
"What?" she asked.
"Who's Lucas and where are you meeting him tomorrow?"
"Give me my phone." she said.
"Got another boy toy?" I asked.
