Chapter Three

Ella's POV

It's just 5:00 a.m. in the morning when we arrive at NAIA terminal one.

"Ella, do you want to have breakfast first bago tayo umuwi?" Mom asked

"No Ma, we better go home and rest."

"Ok then." She answered. I heard she called dad to text the driver to pick up us.

Minutes later a white car stop in front for us. This should be our car.

"Sir!" the old man called Dad.

"Mang Tony!, Buti na man at nandito na kayo."

"Naku! Itong si Ma'am Amanda mas lalong gumanda, Ito na po ba yung anak nyong si Endria? Ang ganda rin." Sabi ni Mang Tony.

I saw them looking at each other.

"Kayo talaga Mang Tony bolero parin. Hindi sya si Endria Mang Tony , she's Ella."

"Ah alis na po tayo Ma'am? Sir? Baka matraffic pa tayo."

Binuhat niya ang mga bagahe namin sa sasakyan at isa isa kaming pumasok doon.

Habang binabaybay ang daan I couldn't hesitate to look at the window. Nothings change, it's still the same, maingay pa rin masisikip ang daan, some streetlights pundido pa, there's still a lot of street people in the street, I don't know why government don't take action of that.

Maybe the country didn't change at all. Tao lang siguro talaga ang tuluyang nagbabago, maybe because people can easily adjust, some of them. Or maybe they change because they have learned from what they have experience in the past.

Experiences make you stronger. It can also change you into a different person. Pain they are just temporary, when you learn to be numb pain doesn't exist anymore.

I was in my deep imagination and I didn't notice our way until I saw a familiar landmark. I look mom, she smile at me,

"Mom, what are we doing here?" I asked her

"This is your Grandma's village anak. She moves here two years ago." She answered

This couldn't be, I won't stay in this village. I won't ever. Maybe you're wondering kong anong village ang pinagsasabi ko.

This village is where I thought everything would be easy, the village that I thought can give me a happy and complete family. But it wasn't although the true pain start's in this place.

"Why, is there any problem?" Mom ask

"Mom, I can't stay in this village. May iniiwasan ako dito." I said

"Sa laki ng village na to I don't think magkikita pa kayo."

Kung sabagay tama naman si Mommy, saka hindi naman ako lalabas palagi.

The car stop's a white painted house; it's very classic yet elegant. We enter the huge steel gate, I saw everyone is waiting in our arrival the sun still hides earlier is now scattered the surroundings.

"Hellow! Enrique anak! Amanda! Oh my, Ang is this already Ella?" Bati ni Grandma ng makalabas na kami ng sasakyan.

Each of us greeted her as warm as how she welcomes us.

We enter inside the house. The servant greeted us but I ignore them,

Dumiretso kami sa dinning hall kung saan nakahanda ang breakfast.

"Mom, can I just take some rest, I'm too tired to eat those yummy foods in the table." I said pouting my lips.

Grandma laugh. " Oh you're so cute Apo" she said. I just smile at her. I look at Mom, she give signal that it's ok to skip the family breakfast.

I look back to Grandma again. "Grandma, where's my room?" I asked

"It's in the second door in the right sweetie, near the terrace." She answered. I give her a thank you kiss and I also kiss mom and dad before I head out in that respected room.

When I reach my room, I feel something bad inside, it's remind me so much in the past.

"I want to sleep here Papa, I want to sleep here!!!!!." Sigaw ni Ayisha

"Ayisha, Jacobo, You make us all worried tapos, gusto nyo lang pala matulog dito"

"Mama, this room is amazing, Papa I want my room to be like this"

Hindi ko napansin kung ano ang sa loob ng kwarto kasi na hinihingal pa ako

"Gab, did you like your room, baka may gusto ka pang idagdag?" tanong ni Papa Anton

Doon ko na lang naisipan na ilibot ng tingin ang buong kwarto.

Halos hindi ako makapag salita sa mga nakita ko.

Si Mama naman, mukha ata ngayon lang din napansin ang buong kwarto.

"Hun? How much did you spend for this?"

"The cost doesn't matter Hun, basta komportable sila"

"Papa I want to sleep here" Si Ayisha

"Me too" salungat ni Jacobo

"You're not allowed here this room is for girls only."

"I want to play with Ate's Xbox" Jacobo answer

"You're not allowed here,, shuuuuuu" pagpapaalis ni Ayisha

"Mag aaway nanaman kayo nyan,you both have your own rooms."

"But Pa," the say in churos

"Sige na Go to rooms at pagpahinga, it's already late, may pasok pa bukas" Sabi ni Papa Anton

Walang nagawa ang dalawa,

"You too Gab, take a rest now. Kong may gusto kang idagdag o ipaalis just tell me tomorrow, Ok?"

"Yes Papa, Thank you po pala" I said

"Anything for the Princess" Papa Anton said

Naiiyak ako sa sinabi ni Papa, She really value me.

I hug Papa Anton

"thank you po Papa." May tears started to flow

"Oh why are you crying?" he asked

"Masaya lang po ako" I said

Sa kabilang bahagi nakita ko si Mama na nakangiti sa amin.

"Sali, naman ako jan" sabi ni Mama

"Group hug!!!!!!"

Shit! Why all of the sudden bumabalik naman yung nakaraan na yun. Sinampa ko ang katawan ko sa kama.

"Arrrrrrrrrrrrr! Nakakainis!" sigaw ko sabay buga ng hangin. Bumangon ako at umupo sa kama.

"You change now, hindi na ikaw si Gabriella, ikaw na si Ella!" I said I look at the wall in my side and see my reflection in the mirror.

"You came back to teach them a lesson, to make them pay of what they deed, don't be so soft Ella. Ilang taon mo ng pinaghandaan yan."

I stand up at hinawi ko ang kurtina na nakatabon sa salaaming pintuan patungo sa munting terrisita ng kwarto.

From that view I saw a familiar house in front of me.

"Shit! Nanadya na ata toh!" sigaw ko at

Muling ibinalik ang sarili ko sa loob.

Pagkakataon nga naman kung ano pa ang higit mong iniwasan sya namang lubos na lumalapit sayo.
