Chapter Fifty

Richard's POV

It was dawn when I receive a call from unknown number. Even my eyes are halfway close, I can clearly see the numbers in my screen, and it was not from the Philippines. I swipe the screen to answer the call; still in close eyes I heard the man's voice.

"Hello? Tito I'm really sorry to disturb this early, but I have something important to ask?" The man said

"Who's this?" I answered still didn't recognize the voice

"This is Paul Tito"

My eyes automatically open as I heard who it was. "Paul? Why, what is it?" I asked as everything sink in, in my mind.

"Tito I will just ask permission if I can bring Gab, to Batanes? The place where you and Tita Dawn met?"

"How did you know that? Saka ang layu ng Batanes, bakit doon pa?"

"Next week will be our anniversary as a couple Tito, and I want to surprise her, she mention kasi ng tumawag ako kahapon na hindi pa daw sya pumupunta doon."

"You just ask your Tita Dawn Paul, if payag sya, payag na din ako. Basta if ever take care of our daughter, you know your limitations."

"Thank you Tito, I will ask Tita as soon as I contact her."

"Good Luck, the two of you should enjoy the place." I said. Papatayin ko n asana ang phone ng nagpahabol si Paul.

"Wait Tito! Please, please, please, don't tell her about this."

"Don't worry, I will" I assured him.

After the call I try to go back to sleep but I can't anymore, so I decided to wake up and headed to the kitchen to make coffee for myself.

It was exactly six in the morning when my phone buzz again. I thought it was Paul again but I was wrong it was Dawn on the other line.

"Hello?" I greeted

"Richard bakit ka pumayag? Alam mo ba na ang layo-layo ng Batanes? Naisip mo ba na ilang araw silang mawawala kapag umalis sila" talak agad ni Dawn ang pinambungan niya.

"Hey! Kumalma ka nga, I didn't say yes, I just said na kung papaya ka papaya na din ako. Pumayag ka ba?"

"Oo, eh kasi naman akala ko ikaw yung naunang pumayag!" sabi nito na mataas pa rin ang boses

Natawa na lamang ako, " Okay lang yun, let them spent their anniversary together, may tiwala ka naman kay Gab diba? Wala naman silang gagawing ikagagalit natin."

"Of course I trust my daughter! Pero.... Grrrrrrr, sige na! I need to prepare for my shoot." She said and ended the called

She just calls me para magtalak, mga babae talaga. Kakapanglungo.

Paul's POV

Ella and I will be celebrating our anniversary next week; I want it to be special, to be memorable. When I first met her I already feel something different, I waited for her to be ready for a relationship, and now it's going to be a year since she said yes to me.

"Melissa?" I called my secretary, I know something's wrong is happening in our company but I will still celebrate this special event in my life. "Book me a flight to Philippines." I order and headed out to my office, then I call Julianna, to be my partner in crime,

"Hello? Kuya Paul?" she answered

"Jul's? I know you're the only person that can help me abou this one."

"What it is Kuya?" she asked

I told her my plan. I heard some " tili " in the other line. "Oh, You're so sweet Kuya, I can't wait for Ate's reaction. I will make sure na hindi nya malalaman to."

" Thanks Jul's, I owe you a lot."

I instruct her some of the preparation, and everything was already set. I already a signed some one to be in-charge in our Batanes getaway .
