Chapter Seventeen

Dawn's POV

It's quite early in the morning but I already wake up and found Anton soundly sleeping in the other side of the bed. I search for my slippers and went down stairs to prepare breakfast. I know I didn't done this for so long, I'm too busy in my work and I no longer done this simple things to my family, this was just started when Gab past, sa una it's still okay until I prefer to engage in my work to forget what happened.

I open the fridge it's still the same kompleto palagi ang laman. I on the stove and started to cook.

The sun is finally set when everybody woke up.

"Good Morning!" I greeted

"Good Morning Ma!"

"Good Morning Hun!" Anton, Jacobo and Kristy greeted in chours.

But I found someone is missing, I look back to stairs and saw Ayisha habang pababa at kinukusot pa ang mata.

"Good Morning Sweetie!" I greeted her.

"Why you're still here Mama? You aren't working today?" She asked in her bagong gising tone.

"No sweetie, Mama will be staying at home today." I said "Let's go, let's eat, I cooked your favourite pasta dish."

We sat at the table. And the maids started to put plates in the front of us. I look at the chair beside me, it used to be Gab's chair when she's still her. Hindi ko namalayan na natullaa pala ako doon sa upuan.

"Hun! Are you okay?" Anton asked

"Ah... Yes! I fine!" I said look at the chair again. I call one of our maids to get extra plate and place it in Gab's used to sit.

"Mama? What's that?" Kristy asked

"Never mind me Kris, I just miss her that's why. Kumain na kayo"

We started to eat and everyone is silent. Until Jacobo speak up.

"What day is today?" he asked

"13th day of August" Kristy answered

Biglang nag madaling tumayo si Anton, " Today pala yung Charity Event ng Company sa Subic. I need to go, I also need you there, pero sumunod na lang kayo ng mga bata."

I was surprise, agad agad?

"Ipapasundo ko na lang kayo dito." He said and gave me a goodbye kiss

Pagkatapos kumain agad namang paghanda ang mga bata para sa pupuntahan namin excited sila kasi out of town. Pwera lang kay Kristy.

Pinuntahan ko sya sa kwarto para icheck.

"Kristy, are you all set?" I asked

"Mama you know naman na hindi ako mahilig jan, mabobored lang ako doon."

"Kristy, kailangan nating isupport yung Papa mo, saka tradition na yun ng company."

"Ma, ayoko. Kayo na lang okey?" she said

"Hmmmmm... Paano kaya kung yayain ko si Amanda?" I said

"What? Really Ma? Sige Ma sasama ako, basta pakisabi kay Tita Amanda na isama si Ella." she said excitedly.

"Sige na, mag-ayos ka na jan at, tatanongin ko muna sila Amanda. I sure naman na sasama si Amanda dahil sa mahilig ito sa mga charity works."

"Sige Ma!" she said and I leave the room.
