35. Her deeds payback mickle.

Sometimes things don't orient themselves the way anyone wants them to. Always giving one's life to convoke upon the hardest of times, shocks just are what everyone uncalls for.

Be it the one Rayne was experiencing. Her heart was filled with poignancy and agony of her so called love that she needs to forget about now.

Are these the consequences of doing and thinking good for someone? Are these the aftermaths of making promises for Rayne? This is what having empathy for someone beckons on the person?

Marrying Vince was something Rayne didn't expect even in her wildest dreams.

Needlessly to say, fighting and struggling for her love won't come in handy now, because the hatchet has already been buried.

Vince was already on cloud nine. The bride his father had promised him was in his possession. What else could he dream for?

"Come with me, Rayne. Let's go to our house." Vince uttered whilst taking a hold of Rayne's soft hands.

She resisted his touch and tried to snatch her hand from his grip but it only resulted in, Vince glaring at her with cold eyes.

She looked down in submission. Would Alec be craving for her? Would Amanda and Ian be grateful of her? Would they all be coming for her?

He dragged Rayne to his sports car. The car was sleek in design and very brilliantly cared for. Its black color sheen in the daylight had an impact on the eyes.

"How is my car?" Vince asked while opening the passenger door for Rayne.

"Nice." She exempted herself from stuttering.

He just smirked at her uncomfortable self and patiently waited for her to get in. As she did, he sat on the driver's seat before starting the ignition with his key.

"Where are we going?" Rayne asked as diffidence lurked in her every word.

"Our house." Oblivious to the obvious of the question, he answered stupidly.

"You mean, 'your' house." Rayne rectified his statement.

"No."

Rayne scoffed.

The ensuing hours followed an awkward silence through the car ride.

Right at that time in Szalleto, Alec was worried like he has never been before. After hearing the Amanda was talking to Rayne on the phone that the kidnapper left, rose his desire to talk to her, to hear her angelic voice.

"Try again."Alec muttered.

For more than twenty times, they tried the phone number from which Rayne called but nothing seem to go their way.

"It is switched off."Amanda answered.

"Let's find whose phone number it is." Ian suggested.

Nodding her head, Amanda answered,"I'll just call my father and tell him to get the name of the owner of this mobile number."

With that Amanda left.

"This is all your fault! " Ian exclaimed.

Sensing that Ian's words were directed towards the so-called-fake gang leader, Alec uprist from the couch .

"What are the hell are you saying?" Alec shouted.

"This is all you fault, arse! You were the one who dragged my sister to the wedding. Because of your irresponsibility, she is not here! We have no idea where is she! " Ian grabbed Alec's collar and twitched.

Reposting to the action, Alec also grabbed Ian's collar and averred,"You are blaming me?! Before pointing fingers at me, look what that bitch of your step-sister did. Chasity was the one who-"

"Stop it! Both of you!" Amanda cut off Alec's words. "This is not the time to fight and put blame on each other. I have got the name of the owner of the sim card and the phone."

"Who is it?" Both asked in unison.

"Uh-He's Freddy." Amanda's face was filled with horror. She knew of the bitter gang business.

"What!?" They both exclaimed doubting on the words that came out of her mouth.

"I know, I know. It is terrible."

"This is all because of that bastard James! Because of him, my Rayne has to suffer always. " By each word Alec's fist clenched even tighter.

But Amanda and Ian didn't seem to notice the anger that his behind Alec's gritted teeth, they were flummoxed just about what Alec had stated.

"My Rayne? " Ian asked in a questionable manner.

"What?", Alec asked.

"You just called my sister yours." Ian stated.

"No, I didn't." Alec blushed a little. Amanda smiled at his refusing course.

"Of course you did! " Amanda cleared.

"Fine! I did. So what?"

"Nothing, you're just whipped. Anyway, let's get back here but I sure am going to tell her this." Amanda continued their task as she put up with the worrying situation.

"I came to know that Freddy is behind all of this. He kidnapped me so he could blackmail Rayne into doing something, we don't know of.
Seems like Chasity and Caden were helping him." Amanda informed.

"Why would Chasity go against James. He hates Freddy." Ian query some mind asked.

"Of course Chasity didn't know about Caden helping Freddy. She is just an idiot. Where is she though? She can tell us where Rayne could be." Alec sneered.

"Chasity went back to Milauje, I guess. They both, James and her were happy that Rayne wouldn't be back. They were talking about turning her room into something. " Amanda sighed.

"Those filthy selfish butt holes! How can they just do that?" Ian cursed.

"We need to get Chasity-" Amanda was interrupted by a manly voice.

"You all won't be needing to do that."

All the three looked at the source of the voice. It came from the door.

"Caden?" Alec noticed.

Indeed, Caden stood there. He couldn't find any other way to payback what Rayne did for him.

"I know where Rayne is."
