The next day at school I made the mistake of telling Amanda everything that happened and how I had decided to go to Louis' party that was taking place tomorrow.

"Jenn seriously don't go, you'll regret it," she told me as we walked out of the school. I sighed.

"I'm only going for a little, if it turns out to be lame I'll just leave," I told her. She gave me a worried expression.

"If they let you leave," she said. I rolled my eyes.

"I'll be fine. I'll text you when I'm home after it so you know I'm safe," I told her with a smile. She sighed a bit.

"I really don't get why you put up with him, you got in trouble holding his joint, your parents don't like him but you still keep asking for more," she said. I shrugged.

"I don't expect you to understand but he's really not that bad," I told him.

"I still think he's a freak and you need to be careful," she warned.

"Yes I know, anyways I'll see you tomorrow," I said giving her a quick hug then turned down my street.

Was I making the right choice? Maybe I shouldn't go tomorrow. Then again if I didn't I'd have to explain why to him later and I had no idea what I would say.

I walked out of my room Friday night. I chose some black skinny jeans with a dark purple top. It was much darker than I usually dress but I didn't want to stand out too much.

I straightened my hair and added a little bit of eyeliner. I grabbed my purse and walked downstairs.

"I'm off to Amanda's," I told my parents casually. Things had gotten a little bit better with them. My dad was still on edge but that's just how he is.

"'Dressed like that?" my dad asked. I'm surprised even he noticed it wasn't like my usual attire.

"Yea we might go bowling and I figured maybe I might meet someone nice," I said with a shrug. My mom smiled at me but my dad huffed.

"As long as he does look like that Louis fella," he said turning back to the tv.

"There's nothing wrong with the way Louis looks," I said crossing my arms.

"Please tattoos at such a young age and those tight dark clothes. It's a desperate cry for attention and I won't tolerate you spending time with people like him," he said bitterly. I sighed not pushing it further.

"Yes I know dad. I'll be home later," I told them.

"Before 12," my dad called to as I shoved my shoes on and headed out the door. I closed the door behind me and started to walk to the street that Louis and I planned to meet on. I couldn't let him pick me up at home, knowing my dad he probably would look outside to make sure I was heading the way that Amanda lives.

I saw an old grey car parked on the side of the road and Louis was sitting on the back end of it wearing black pants, a black shirt with a dark blue jean jacket over it. I wonder if there's a section of stores dedicated to bad ass clothing because he always seemed to have that look.

He smiled at me as I got closer.

"Well look whose come to the dark side," he said with a smirk giving me a quick up down look.

"If I'd shown up in my normal clothes I'd stick out like a sore thumb," I said. He laughed a bit.

"You're probably right, still you look nice," he said sliding off the back of his car. I smiled a bit.
