My eyes misted over with fear. What have I gotten myself into. I sniffed slightly trying to blink away the tears forming in my eyes. A few feel down my cheek as Louis stirred with a small groan. He lifted his head and I quickly whipped the tears away before he got a chance to them but as soon as his face feel from its smile up at me I knew he saw.
“Babe what’s wrong?” he asked in a groggly worried voice. I shook my head forcing a smile.
“Nothing,” I assured him but his worried expression didn’t fade.
“I didn’t hurt you did I?” he asked searching my eyes as panic filled his voice. I shook my head smiling a bit more.
“No course not,” I said brushing my hands through his hair.
“Then why are you crying?” he asked sadly. I bit my lip looking away but he placed his hand on my cheek turning my head back to look at him. He stroke my face with his thumb waiting for me to respond. I sighed deeply with a shrug.
“I’m sure worried about tonight,” I said in a low tone. Louis smiled at me for a moment before leaning closer to me and pressed his soft lips to my forehead.
“Babe you have absolutely nothing to worry about,” he said in a confident tone. I looked back into his eyes with an unconvinced expression written in mine. “This fight is going to be a piece of cake. I promise,” he told me taking my hand in his and kissing my knuckles. I sighed with a small nod.
“Still I wish I didn’t have to witness it,” I stated looking down again. Louis nodded slowly with a deep sigh.
“Trust me babe I know. If I could ship you off to China I would just so there’s no chance of you getting hut but just don’t worry too much, close your eye or something and it’ll be over before you know it,” he explained and I nodded again still a little uncertain. “I love you Jenn and I swear I won’t let anything happen to you,” he spoke softly before pressing his lips passionately against mine.
When we pulled away Louis smiled down at me then got up grabbing a pair of boxers and slipped them off. I frantically searched for my clothes and shyly pulled them on while keeping his blanket around me. Louis laughed a bit at me as I rushed to put my bra on.
“Hey,” he said in playful tone standing by the door. I looking up at him curiously as I turned my shirt right side out. “I had fun last night,” he said grinning. I smirked back at him and nodded.
“I did too,” I said honestly. He smiled more then left his room heading up stairs letting me change in peace.
When I was fully dressed I went upstairs and found Louis by the stove turning in on.
“Whatcha doing?” I asked curiously standing by the counter.
“Makin pancakes,” he stated and I chuckled a bit in amusement.
“You don’t cook thought,” I stated. He gave me a childish grin going into his pantry. He pulled out pancake mix and extended his arms out to e. I laughed rolling my eyes and took the box from him.
“Do I have to do everything?” I joked and he nodded still grinning.
“Trust me if I make them they’ll turn into pancake mush,” he teased. I laughed then got to work mixing the flower and placed a pan on the stove.
