We soon pulled up to Harry’s flat. We both carried him upstairs and set him down on the couch. I sat down beside him worriedly looking at him.
“I’ll get some towels you can clean him up a bit,” Harry said. I nodded giving him a small smile. He nodded back and left.
He came back with some damp towels and I went to work on cleaning Louis as best as I could. He was still knocked out cold but I guess that was best. If he woke up he’d be in all sorts of pain.
“He’s lucky to have you,” Harry said sitting down on the other couch he had. I shrugged.
“Right now he seems pretty unlucky,” I said with a frown.
“I’d still say he’s lucky, not many girls would be smart enough to call his friend for help and stick around to clean him up,” he explained. I shrugged.
“It’s what you do when you love someone,” I said. Harry smiled at my comment and I turned back and finished cleaning him.
“I know it’s been awhile since that day at the club but I just want to apologize for my behavior. I know I said some inappropriate things and I just want you to know I’m sorry and that I’m not really like that,” he spoke softly. I offered him a small smile.
“Really? So you don’t go around stealing guy’s girlfriends when you’re sober?” I teased. He chuckled a bit.
“Actually that was a first. I’m stupid when I drink anyways sorry for making you put up with that,” he said. I shrugged.
“It’s okay, after putting up with this guy I’m sure I can handle anything you have to dish out,” I said. He smiled at me. I smiled back then finished up Louis. I sighed taking the cloth away. He looked better but his face was still cut up and swollen, at least it’s the weekend.
“You can spend the night if you want,” Harry offered getting up and looking down at Louis.
“Thanks,” I said. “Can you watch him for a minute?” I asked as I stood up and pulled out my phone. He nodded taking my spot. I dialled my parent’s number and walked into the kitchen while it rung.
“Hey sweetie everything okay?” my dad answered.
“Yea everything is great, I was just wondering if I could sleep at Amanda’s tonight?” I asked.
“Sure no problem, thanks for calling,” he said.
“Thanks dad see you tomorrow,” I said.
“You girls have fun goodnight,” he said.
“Night,” I said back and quickly hung up the phone. I sighed rubbing my hands over my face. I hated lying but being with Louis gives me no choice.
“You’re a good liar,” Harry’s voice came. I spun around and looked at him leaning against the door frame. I shrugged.
“I’ve gotten used to it. My parents don’t exactly like Louis,” I explained.
“They hate him don’t they?” he asked. I nodded leaning against his counter and looked down. “Don’t worry one day you’ll be out on your own and you won’t have them telling you what to do,” he explained walking to his fridge. I nodded slowly.
