“Hi Amanda,” Louis said politely as he walked beside me. I bit my lip nervously as her face fell.
“Hey,” she said dully.
“You look really pretty tonight,” he complimented.
“Thanks,” she said sounding annoyed. He nodded slowly.
“Jenn if-if you want to spend the rest of the night with Amanda that’s fine I’ll just head home,” he said looking from me to her. Amanda crossed her arms looked at him.
“Actually I’d like to talk to you,” Amanda said sternly.
“Me?” Louis asked confused pointing to himself. She nodded.
“I’ll um buy us some drinks,” I offered. I gave Amanda a warned look but she just smiled slightly at me. I rubbed Louis back sympathetically. It was actually kinda of funny. I’ve never seen him so scared.
I walked away leaving them to it praying that Amanda wouldn’t be too harsh. I bought us all a can of coke and slowly walked back. Part of me expected to see Louis down on the floor in the fiddle position with Amanda over him hitting him repeated with her purse but instead I some something that almost shocked me.
“Truce?” I overheard Louis asked as he stuck out his hand. Amanda eyed him for a moment before letting a small smile form on her lips.
“Truce,” she stated shaking his hand back.
“Thank god neither of you is dead,” I said coming up to them handing them a drink.
“Nah it’s all good, Amanda and I smoothed things out. You’ve got a good friend here, keep her close,” Louis said to me smiling at Amanda. Amanda smiled back with a nod.
“Yea and I guess he’s okay. I’m happy for you guys,” Amanda said. I smiled brightly and pulled her into another hug making her laugh. Louis joined in and we had a group hug.
“Tomorrow me and you girls day okay?” I asked Amanda to which she nodded happily.
‘If I wear a dress and put on make up can I come?” Louis asked curiously. Amanda looked at him like he was crazy.
“You’re right he has changed,” she stated. I laughed.
“You haven’t even seen the half of it,” I joked.
“What I could look like a girl,” he joked. I rolled my eyes.
“Not a chance,” I teased.
“Fine then I’ll just dress up and have my own girls day,” he stated looking away with a fake offended face.
“Yea? Who are you going to invite Harry? Make sure he dressed in green it’ll match his eyes,” I said with a laugh.
“Who’s Harry?” Amanda asked curiously sipping on her drink.
“One of Louis’ friends, he’s actually really nice, helped us out big time last week,” I explained. Louis nodded in agreement. “The four of us should hang out some day, I’m sure you two would get along,” I said. Amanda shrugged and I could tell she was hiding a small smile. She never passed up a chance to meet a guy.
