I stared at it in confusion for a moment before looking back up into his eyes. He bit his lips slightly and placed it on the table and slid it towards me.
I slowly placed my hand on it pulling it in front of me and eased the top opened. Inside rest a beautiful silver necklace. The charm on it was a heart shaped key with a small blue diamond in the center of the heart.
My mouth dropped opened at the beauty in front of me.
“Louis,” I said with a slight gasp as I picked it up with my fingers. Louis smiled at me excitedly waiting for approval.
“Do you like it?” he asked leaning forwards on the table. I looked back at him with wide eyes.
“I love it,” I said and he smiled more relaxing his shoulders. “Louis this is absolutely beautiful, you didn’t have to do this,” I said looking at him. He kept his heart warming smile as he shrugged.
“It’s no big deal besides you deserve it,” he said. I shook my head smiling at him then looked back at the necklace. “Here let me put it on you,” he said getting up and taking it out of my hands. I moved my hair out of the way as he linked it behind my neck. I looked down smiling at how beautiful it looked. I turned my head to stare into Louis eyes. He stroked his fingers down my face as he smiled down at me.
“Looks stunning on you,” he said. I chuckled a bit and got to my feet wrapping my arms tightly around his neck, his arms wrapped around my waist pulling me in close.
“You’re amazing,” I whispered in his ear. He tightened his grip around me.
“Only for you,” he whispered back. I pulled away looking into his bright blue eyes. He smiled at me once before leaning down and pressed his lips to mine gently. It still amazes me how only a few short months ago Louis was on a downwards spiral to complete failure but now look at him he was an absolute gentleman.
“Come on lets head back,” he said pulled away and wrapping his arm around me. I nodded following him out of the restaurant. We got back to the car as I kept my hand held tightly to his as he drove away.
“Where to now?” I asked curiously leaning closer to him.
“My place, my mom took my sisters on a weekend trip so the house is empty, figured it would give us more privacy than Harry’s place,” he said glancing at me. I nodded my head and faced forward.
I wonder if tonight would be the night. We’ve fooled around a few times but there was always something that stopped us from going further, now with an empty house and no chance of being interrupted we could if we wanted to.
God knows Louis probably wanted to but I wasn’t so sure. I loved him I really did but this would be my first time and I wasn't looking forward to the pain everyone talks about during their first time.
These thoughts clouded my mind and before I knew it we were at his place pulling into the parking lot.
We got out of the car and walked into his house together.
“Can I get you a drink or anything?” Louis asked me walking further into his house. I shook my head taking off my shoes and followed behind him. He grabbed himself a beer before leading me downstairs to his room.
I hadn’t been to his house very often and his room always felt like a museum every time I walked in. It was messy but that was just part of his charm. Louis took a sip of his bottle then set it down at his computer desk.
He walked up behind me as I stared at a picture of his when he was younger. Louis snaked his arms around my waist and placed his head on my shoulder.
“You were cute when you were a kid,” I stated as he kissed my neck lightly. “What happened?” I teased turning my head to look at him. He chuckled a bit looking back at me.
“I stopped being cute and started being sexy,” he teased. I laughed shaking my head and leaned my head back on his shoulder. Louis kissed my neck again slowly pulling me backwards. I followed his tug till he was sitting down on his bed, he pulled me into his lap.
“Life is weird isn’t it,” I said randomly.
“What do you mean?” he asked curiously moving to the other side of my neck and kissed it again.
“Well who would have thought we’d end up together? At the beginning of the year I thought you were just a waist of space, no purpose, no future just a rotten jerk,” I stated. Louis chuckled slightly.
“Flattery gets you know where,” he teased. I smiled a bit turning towards him and wrapped an arm around his neck.
“I’m serious though, it’s weird, who would have thought that I’d be so perfectly happy with a guy like you?” I asked.
“Well maybe it was supposed to happen, I mean I was going down a road with no future maybe you were meant to take interest in me so that I get on a better track,” he explained. I nodded slowly.
“What’s in it for me though? You get the chance at a better life but what do I get?” I asked jokingly. He chuckled smirking at me.
“A boyfriend who is great in bed,” he teased and buried his head in my neck. I laughed a bit placing my hand on his face and brushed my fingers through his hair.
“Well that’s actually yet to be determined,” I teased back. He chuckled a bit and moved his hand under my legs and picked me up quickly.
“Why don’t I show you,” he said playfully dropping me on his bed and climbing on top of me with a cute smirk. I giggled as he leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him back sweetly. His tongue slide into my mouth and explored. His hand ran up and down my side while my fingers got tangled into his hair.
