We pulled up to the bowling alley and I jumped out of the car saying a quick goodbye. Amanda followed and we went inside. I spotted Louis and Harry quickly over by a vending machine game, the one with the claw you used to pick up a prize.
“Jenn, look,” Louis said excitedly pushing a small stuffed blue octopus in my face. “I won it for you,” he said proudly.
“Yea with my help,” Harry said crossing his arms giving a playful glare at Louis.
“Aw thanks handsome,” I said hugging him.
I pulled away and put my hand on Amanda’s back.
“Harry this is my friend Amanda. Manda this Louis’ friend Harry I was telling you about,” I introduced. Amanda’s eyes were completely fixated on Harry, like she was seeing an angel before her. Harry had a similar look as he reached out his hand to take hers.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” he said with a charming smile. She took his hand shaking it gently and nodded.
“Same to you,” she said and I noticed a small blush on her face. I looked up at Louis and winked at him. He smiled with a small nod and placed his arm around my shoulder.
“Let’s go we’ve already paid for a lane down at the end,” Louis said.
We all got our shoes and made our way to our lane.
“So what do you think guys versus girls the first round?” Harry asked as he put on his shoes.
“I dunno wouldn’t want to embarrass you after we cream you,” I said breathing on my nails and pretending to polish them off.
“I’d say that’s a challenge,” Louis said smirking. Amanda chuckled a bit looking at me.
“I don’t know how good you think you are but I stink and bowling,” she said. Harry smiled over at her and I could tell he would be the first to volunteer to help.
Ones our shoes were on we all took a turn. Harry went first then me then Louis and lastly Amanda.
She was right when she said she wasn’t good. Her first two shots she took were both gutter balls.
“Told you,” she said crossing her arms sitting back down next to me. I patted her lap and watched as Louis went up. I whistled at him as he took his stop up to the line.
“Hey no distracting,” he said pointing his finger up at me. I raised my hands innocently. He bowled getting most of them down.
I took my turned setting up my shot.
“In coming,” Louis shouted making me back away . He came running over with a bowling ball in hand and shot it down the lane hitting only one pin.
“You little cheat,” I said slapping him away playfully. He laughed taking his seat. I stood by the line again and tossed the ball and ended up hitting all the pins down getting a spare. I smiled proudly at Louis who crossed his arms with a small pout.
Harry took his turned next. He picked up a ball then turned and looked at Amanda.
“Hey Manda come here,” he said. She looked nervously at him.
