I tell people to learn to love themselves. Encourage them to move on from pain and hardships to live more happily.
I'm always that person anyone would turn to for advice. They say "you listen to me." Because they know I tell nothing but the truth. I'm not the type to sugarcoat.
I believe everyone should fight for themselves more than they fight for others. I believe "you" come first.
I'm always the one who stands up for someone I care about, and the one who stands up for herself when it's needed.
The one who has to fake a smile so no one has to know what's truly going on. They don't need to worry, I am fine.
I look fine, so I feel fine. Isn't that how it works?
I tell myself that I'm alright; I'm strong; I can handle anything; I'm worthy; so I'll be okay, and I'll hold it together. This is what I'm supposed to do, right?
I guess. That's what my therapist told me.
At least, everyone's satisfied. My goal in life to make them feel better, right?
The question is. . .
Where is that person when I need her?
