What does it mean when someone calls you "beautiful" or "handsome"? That person may be attracted to you. That person may stop and stare to admire you. That person may wish to become like you.
At least, that's society's definition of it.
The question is, what if you weren't society's beautiful or handsome?
Here's my answer:
Who fucking cares?
You shouldn't, for the most part.
Why? Why do most people get hurt when they aren't considered beautiful?
You DO know that beauty isn't everything, right? You should know it doesn't actually matter.
People view people in different ways. So if you think about it, there's no specific type of beauty. You can't say if that person's beautiful or not because they're both, there is no specific label to anyone.
You're both as well.
And it's stupid; doing plastic surgeries to change your looks to fit society's category of beauty. I believe in all things natural, especially natural beauty.
I know this is a sensitive topic, but to hell with it. It's my opinion.
WHY!? I don't get it. If you're not considered beautiful, it doesn't mean the end of your world.
You see my point now?
Don't get sad or upset when no one sees you the way you want to be seen, because physical appearances aren't everything. Also, not all people might find you internally beautiful.
And that's ok. Because beauty doesn't matter as much as you might think it does.
So what if you weren't beautiful?
You can be smart. You can be creative. You can be funny. You can be strong. You can be bubbly. You can be anything, and if you believe in that, everyone's eyes won't matter.
The only eyes that would see you the way you want to be seen that matter are yours.
